Rustic charm
I chose to book this hotel because of the previous good reviews and the fact it was out of the main tourist area.It is a 10 minute walk from the main bus plazza and a good 20 minutes to the main sights with plenty of restaurants and shops lining the main thoroughfare and close to water taxi stops.Rosso charmo itself is charming,only 3 rooms so maintains a quiet intimacy that perhaps is lost in a big chain.Staff were welcoming,providing a map and suggested routes and we were able to get our room early enabling us to enjoy the best of the day.Room was sympathetically decorated,very clean,free wi-fi with continental breakfast laid out each morning on individual tables ,in the garden if weather allowed.Food was generous and nicely presented,attention to detail was appreciated.I would definitely recommend staying at one of their properties on offer as I don't believe you will have a more warmer welcome.

This is a really beautiful little hotel in the heart of Venice. Although it's located on a busy street, the inside is quiet, peaceful, and really artfully decorated. The rooms are large and comfortable and there's a lovely back garden.

Mit der Ankunft waren wir nicht zufrieden. Ich hatte angerufen, dass wir wegen Zugverspätung erst um 21 Uhr kommen. 10 nach 9 waren wir da und es war niemand mehr aufzutreiben! Wir mußten für die erste Nacht ein anderes Hotel ZUSÄZLICH buchen!

Hôtel confortable dans un quartier agréable
Hôtel confortable, chambre propre, rénovée avec goût et au calme. Le quartier est vivant sans être ultra touristique. Un petit marché de fruits et légumes se tient tous les jours au pied de l'hôtel.
