Room service changed sheets but trash and glasses and some dirty towels were left. Only two clean towels at a time. Property is run down. Not worth the money.

Booked this as a 5-star accommodation with decent reviews. They have no room service or in-room coffee. The valet was $45 per day but offered parking across street in a lot for $8 per entry. The room was only moderately clean. The sheets were too small for the bed. The faucet on sink was loose and water consistently came out all over the counter. They did have two bottles of water in the room (for $5 each). This stuff is all ok for a 3 star (or maybe even a lower end 4 star) property. My two stars are based mainly on what the property should have had and didn’t.

Stayed at this hotel for March Madness. The lobby was stunning and the staff were polite. Comfortable beds and good size rooms. The only complaint I had with this hotel was cleanliness; our curtains had been torn by a previous guest, there was what appeared to be vomit (dried) in/on the carpet next to the window and the shower curtain liner wasn’t clean on the bottom. Overall I would give this hotel another chance in hopes it was just an oversight due to high traffic with the tournament.

Came into town for a symphony at nearby Heinz hall, an easy block walk , and this hotel surpassed expectations. Beautiful architecture, lovely rooms and A plus staff. Would stay here again for any Pittsburgh event.

I have stayed at several hotels in Pittsburgh while going up to visit my daughter at Duquesne University and this is one of my favorites! The uniqueness of the hotel, spacious rooms and great restaurants nearby are wonderful. I highly recommend.

This hotel is just ok. It’s really showing its age and the rooms are a bit spare and barren. But you can’t beat the price, especially in such a central location. I would not roam around outside at night however.

Everything was unique. The architecture was amazing. The whiskey bar was just super cool and the bartenders were very knowledgeable to our rookie understanding of whiskeys and such. Staff was very courteous.

Luxury at an affordable price
Beautiful and spacious corner room overlooking the bridge and arch of the building. Loved the fact that the room had very high ceilings. Bed was very comfortable. Bring your own water as they charge $5 for a small bottle of water. Nice Aveda hair products (shampoo & conditioner). Has a fridge and desk. Cleanliness dropped a star due finding hair in the bathroom upon check in. Shower water pressure and temperature was excellent! Would stay here again for the price!!

Motel staff was very friendly. The room was a nice size and had an awesome view. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food was delicious and service was topnotch.

The Renaissance is a beautiful building and a great place to stay in Downtown Pittsburgh. The rooms were spacious and clean. I also enjoyed the restaurant and bar. All the meals I ate breakfast, lunch, or dinner were top notch. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, they also make an incredible old fashion. Thank you to Mimi, Brooklyn, Mark, and Chris for making my stay in Pittsburgh memorable. I’ll definitely be staying at the Renaissance my next time in Pittsburgh.

One of three elevators was broken. We had long waits all weekend. Leaving took over 20 minutes to get down with our luggage. Also there was no hot water for a shower.

Cob webs were all over the drapes and ceiling. There was construction that started at 5.30am, outside that woke us up with the sound and vibration. Management delivered ear plugs... I can't believe I paid the same amount of money for the hotel stay as someone who got to sleep thru the morning without ear plugs.

Stay was okay but charged twice for room £2500 three tim at desk to sort and when I left charged me again after twenty minute conversation before I left not happy had a refund of it but had to spend hour at airport sorting it
