Given its prime location, this hotel has decided it doesn’t need to invest in upkeep or provide a decent service to its customers. No hot water! Half the light bulbs were out. Stodgy interior - may have been luxurious in 1982 but now has peeling wallpaper, rips in the sofa upholstery, strange stains on the toilet seat and lid. On top of all that, the room wasn’t ready at 3pm as promised and the concierge was rude and failed to help with our taxi to the airport. Stay away!

Excellent location. Some room maintenance required. Slept very well as the bed was good as were the soft pillows. Better than many hotels in this regard. Would stay again if the price was acceptable.

Easy to go anywhere. You can walk around the bridge or the tower of London. Train and bus stop are walking distance. Restaurant and Pub are nearby. You have everything around the hotel. Good service and great view from the room. Me and wife spent good time at this hotel.

Hotel is in a great location. Easy for sightseeing and plenty of near by amenities. Service was great.

Conveniently located near the Tower Bridge and Tower of London. 10mins walk to Tower Hill Underground. Lots of dining options.
Hotel room has a perfect view of the Tower Bridge.

The room was Dirty; the bathtub was covered with hair. We notified them and they asked us to take pictures to prove it, also when flushing the toilet there was dark water coming from the wall, terrible, never again.

Lovely hotel, amazing views of the Thames and tower bridge plus othet London landmarks.
Lovely cakes and drinks left for us in our room as we were there for a special celebration.
Staff were all brilliant.
Buffet breakfast had a good selection too.

Good location. The hotel lobby and dining area was excellent. The price was reasonable for London hotels. The room was clean but the bathroom needed updating. I would stay there again on my next London visit.

We stayed here for the view. The property was clean, but the rooms are in need of a remodel and update. Location was close to a tube station, so getting around was fairly easy. Would recommend if you desire close proximity to the tower bridge.

Great location to tube transit. A bit old- for example thermostat didn't work so they offered a fan and bag of ice. Towel heater didn't work either. Upon inquiry, we were told the place is old and not everything works. Seems like a lot of money per night to not have things work.

Good location, close to the Tower bridge and the restaurants. Hotel condition is ok, older facility. The toilet didn’t work properly, but repair man came quickly and fixed the problem. Only stayed for 1 night, booked the tower bridge view, it’d be better if the hotel’s fixtures on the yard weren’t in the way.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel because I had family visiting from abroad.
I booked a twin room for me & my 10 year old daughter. I do not think the price was worth it. You are basically paying for the location.
Hotel needs a revamp. Furniture, carpet, cupboard door & handles are old. The bathroom could do with the most work. They do not have walk in showers. You have to step over to get in & out of bath which was high. My 10 year old daughter had a bad fall in the bath where she cut herself & was bleeding. People with mobility problems would need to be very careful. The wash hand basin taps were hard to turn on & off. No fridge/mini bar. No usb outlets only 2 double sockets in the room. There was only 1 bedside table which was not placed in the middle of both beds. This would have been more convenient to leave the remote or my phone on at night times. I had to either leave it next to the bed on the floor or leave it on the chest of draw but as my alarm was going to go off at a certain time in the morning I left it next to the bed on the floor.
Last & final issue, there was a knock at 8:44 from the maintenance guy saying he was there to fix the tv. He knocked twice which it woke me up. By the time I got to the door he had already put key in the door to enter the room but I had the lock & chain on so he did not get it. I was so furious & reported this to management where they later told me he read the date on the system incorrectly.

Great location , tried to eat at hotel restaurant , stood at the check in sign for 10 minutes and was ignored the entire time, eventually just left . Lobby and hallway to rooms look nice, but my room was dated, due to paint and furniture.
View was very nice had a straight look at Tower of London bridge .
