"The Melia in Hue was a great hotel with ideal location. The pool is warm and comfortable with great views. The hotel food was also solid. The only point of improvement could be the cleanliness of the carpet and the showers. Very minor but a more careful vacuum of the carpet and scrub of the showers would make it a perfect stay. "

"We stayed in the lagoon view villa and could bird watch from the pool deck. There were kingfishers, bee eaters, jacanas, egrets and many other birds that came around. The pool was delightful and the perfect temperature. Using the bikes to get around the resort was fun. The beach is huge with very few people."

"Wonderful, beautiful, and luxurious property; staff is amazing and accommodating; delicious and varied breakfast. Unfortunately we did not make it to the afternoon tea. The only thing I did not like was that the shower is handheld. You have to lather up and wash your hair ... then use the shower to rinse off. It made it for a cumbersome shower experience. Tub is very high. You have to step on a box to get in the tub. A problem if you have children or mobility isssues. Otherwise, it was a super-fabulous stay. "
