"We were lucky to be able to stay in a newly renovated room. It was lovely. Spacious and well appointed. We stayed a second night in a standard room - what a difference! But this hotel is one to keep on the radar for when all the refurbishments are done. "

"It is less than 5 mins drive from the entrance and much quieter. Some rooms has the lake view which is very nice at sunset time. It’s about 5 min walk to the jetty. All staffs were helpful and attentive. Some area could have a bit of TLC (eg bathroom and some minor stains on towel) but overall it was a pleasant stay."

"I got to the hotel early and was immediately upgraded and allowed to check in which was amazing! The pool was awesome and the location to everything was fantastic! I would definately recommend this hotel to stay at!"

"Perfect for overnight or short stay. Clean, new, fresh feel to the room. Basic fitout but that is all that is needed. Close to food outlets with option to microwave in a common dining area."

"T who runs the place is the most helpful knowledgeable person you'll come across. Makes you feel so welcome, nothing is a problem. Great facilities, it's like a house, as in it's got all you might need. I have had a most enjoyable stay. I wish them some busyness because they deserve it. Just not when I come back to stay (from Christchurch) lol. All the best, if I'm ever in the area I'm staying here again! "
