Being upgraded

Pros: The staff and the food.
Cons: More hot water.
Location: Centrally located in Thamel. Convenient to Touristbank with a good ATM. Cafe Oregano is nearby with excellent food that was reasonably priced.
New management was in the process of upgrading the property. Very helpful staff. Very nice people. When I asked for another blanket I was given a very warm comforter that improved my stay. The manager was concerned with organic foods, solar heated water, and water conservation. Very reasonably priced with excellent value for the price.

Not that great

I don't really like writing negative reviews but hopefully someone takes this on board. There was no towel or toilet paper in my room. One of the young boys that worked there came to my room several times asking if I wanted a body massage and telling me a I was beautiful etched. as a young female this freaked me out. The breakfast was bread with butter and black tea. The day I needed to leave it took 25minutes for them to unlock the door I nearly missed my bus. Won't be going back sorry.

Good location in the centre of Thamel.

Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: Clean room!
Location: Centre of Thamel. Excellent shopping and travel services.
The room was not as nice and clean as shown in Expedia pictures. There was no buffet breakfast at the roof restaurant: all I got every morning was two eggs with toast and tea. There were scheduled power outages every day, twice a day. Hot water was not reliable at all. Internet Wi-Fi was frequently interrupted.

Great price, good location

We stayed at this hotel only one night. We thought the price was really good for the room + breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable. The owner is really king. It suited our needs as backpackers. We will probably stay there when we are back in Katmandhu.

we had paid for two adults, and they gave us a single bed!! room was small, kinda dirty, and so was the washroom. I had booked two weeks there and we walked out the day we got there and found another hotel.

i had reached this hotel at 10 pm when i showed the printout of my itinerary they said you had booked only one room (i had booked two room for two days). They refused many times for another room. When i forced him they agreed for another room also. But both room were no having attached bathroom in it. Both room having common bathroom. This is so disgusting. The staff behavior is rude and they don't care about their guests. They will not provide you any service. I would tell not to choose is disgusting hotel.

it was a little cold for me without AC in winter... but every clerk was so nice and kind!!
