Love the location it is so close to the metro station only takes a 5 mins walk. It is also close to a lot of great Japanese restaurants and decent massage places. Within a 20 mins walk will also see DonDon Donki, computer mall and shopping mall.
I ordered the big room located on the highest floor facing the main street so the view is not bad, they also have room facing the side street where you will be able to have a view of the Taipei 101 tower. Room itself is simple and comfortable, nothing luxury, I do not appreciate that there is only one chair in the room but no sofa kind of seating. Bathroom is huge with separated rub and rainfall shower, big counter space big mirror. Hair dryer is kind of weak it might not be convenience for people who has long hair. The TV is reasonable size but free movie selection are not great. There is no lamp on the desk area there only spot lights above your head. My other complain of the room is it is not noise proof room, I can clearly hear the people from next door taking a shower and move things on their bathroom counter while I try to catch up for my sleep.
Paid extra for their buffet breakfast because I stayed here few years back and the breakfast was great. However, the breakfast is no longer great, selection is also much smaller, lucky thing is they do switch a few items everyday. Flavours arent there, they are just foods to fill you up.
Staff at the front desk are good and helpful, but they do look like they are under staff.
