The hotel is so conveniently located - mere steps to the airport in Sydney. The room was clean and quiet. Our flight out was delayed 12 hours, we were able to book a late stay (for $100) for a 5 pm check out. Made a miserable day much more tolerable! Staff was helpful and friendly.

The Rydges Hotel is literally across the airport driveway from the International Terminal (T1) at Sydney's Kingsford-Smith airport, near the escalators that take you up to the departure level. It was ideal for our early morning departure. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient too.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It's so convenient when catching an early morning flight back to NZ. We booked a Deluxe King Airport View room, that got us on the 4th floor. Whilst we had quite good runway viewing, higher would've been fantastic for us plane spotters!! The room was very comfortable, clean, modern & surprisingly quiet. The bed suited both of us. The shower had great pressure - had both a slide & rainfall heads. Definately a good room for 2 adults.

Everything is good. Good customer service, location, parking, restaurant and bar on-site. Unfortunately airport shuttle service was unavailable and were told it has been out of service for a while.

It is convenient for an international flight and for transit trips. We travel often staying in a lot of hotels worldwide so this experience was pretty average. Check in took too long and the staff member checking us in treated us like we were inept of using a touch screen check in. Once we got up to the room being a late flight arrival we ordered room service which took an hour. When it did arrive, it was uncovered, un appealing and missing items. The room itself is new and clean and comfortable. The walls are a little thin between the rooms and hallway noise can also be heard. Great soundproofing for the window so no outside noise which was good. I don't know why airport hotels seem to get so much wrong especially with what you pay. Overall we will not stay again. Training needs to be given to the staff to use a little more common sense.

This is an airport hotel about 100m from the international departures and so is extremely well located for those who have an early morning departure. It was surprisingly quiet but that may be because there were no night flights. Breakfast was good for the price and the restaurant was attractive. Staff was friendly and helpful when we checked in and checked out.

Conveniently located for those not from Sydney to spend a night before early international departure. Room & Smithys Bar were generally fine, but price is steep given the only advantage the hotel offers is proximity to the airport.

You pay for the convenience and this is it. Right across the street from the International Departures gate. Automated checkin/checkout available but not necessary when we got there as the staff was very efficient. The room was nicely appointed for what it is.

Ideal location for international flights. We apparently had our room "upgraded" to a double queen from a family room which I am not happy about as it was no where near as practical and could not get what I booked. Other than that ok.
