Good price for a 3 star hotel. I liked that it was close to the freeway and in btw SJ and Menlo Park. Good size room, cable, the facility is older, so you get what you pay for.

Amenities listed where absent I had a 5a.m. fight so bought a microwave breakfast. Had to toss as no microwave in room. No mini-fridge either. TV and Satellite set top box on dresser. Tried every possible combination of buttons but did not work - found HDMI table hanging behind box, not connected to TV. Plugged in still not working. I now see there is no mention of cable or Satellite TV listed in amenities. Not paying the bill? Interesting name for hotel seems to indicate it's modern. It's not. Very Old property. Telephone is in bathroom - I guess you can do your business while on the phone doing business - if you know what I mean. But, caution - toilet seat is very loose - lean a little left or right and you could find yourself on the floor. The only good things I have to say are that I slept well and it is just 35minutes to SFO. By the way there were FOUR cop cars just a block away as I left for my early morning flight. Thank God my wife was not on this trip with me.

I was very happy i was allowed an early check-in not only that but was given room # 232 which happens to be the biggest suite type room the housekeeper was very helpful and attended my needs when asked i will definitely be back there and yes i will ask for room 232 in advance also they happen to be the owners to the hotel nextdoor so they can accommodate more rooms if needed just ask in advance. As for the housekeeper working my room didnt get your name but keep up the excellence in your work.
