Location was very remote so transportation was an issue. The restaurant was almost non functional and whatever we requested was not available or out of stock. The night reception staff was terrible. We wanted to book airport transfer but this staff never communicated with us and so we had to frantically run about to arrange alternative transport. We tried calling the reception several times but no reply.

There weren't many guests staying at the time so there was little atmosphere but my wife and I enjoyed the peace and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate and location is central.

The view from our room was amazing and the room itself was very clean however the jacuzzi was covered with insects. The breakfast was non existent. There were 3 families staying with us and there was only a bowl of lentils and baked beans. Would defo recommend room only stays as there are numerous restaurants near by.

Echoing the other reviewers... Very very purple. View 360 was a mixed bag. It's obvious that the rooms were designed to be luxury apartments, and that the hotel was originally done to a high standard. Unfortunately, general maintenance has suffered a bit. The main positives are the amazing views of the surrounding valley, the decent facilities (pool and gym), and the 10am Monkey troop (very entertaining). The staff were also very helpful. After reading the other reviews we decided to eat out most of the time, but when we did order the food was generally OK. The Bar and restaurant both close early (21:30), but that's sort of understandable given that there weren't that many guests. The room itself was clean, but the balcony was definitely not (black feet/hands). The bathroom smelled like the kind of sewer gas you'd get if people had been eating a lot of Sri Lankan curry. They really need to fix that, I think other reviewers complained of the same thing. Overall I think View 360 is worth the extra, and the location makes up for the relatively minor issues.

Beautiful view, great staff
Beautiful (very purple hotel) with a great pool, gym and bar view. Loved the two bedroom apartment for us to chill out with our family. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they could simply not do enough. Only downside was that while the food was yummy it didnt match the description on the menu. It was a little oversold.

Dirty, noisy and overpriced
Very dirty, wardrobe mirror was broken leaving large piece of sharp glass, air con was dripping, room was extremely dirty, breakfast was inedible and the pool on the roof was filthy and full of bugs. A lot of dogs outside barking all night also and there’s a call to prayer that starts at 5.30 and goes in for 45minutes. If you need somewhere clean, to rest, then avoid this place.

Nice hotel but far from city.
Hotel have excellent facilities, but it's far from the city. Their food was not that good and need to be improved. I face a problem during check out, as they add wrong food bills. The check out took me more than 45 minutes. If you want a good place to relax, enjoying nice views and to have a clean new room, I recommend that place.

Spectacular views
Very modern , clean hotel with beautiful views of the mountains and the town. Infinity Pool and gym have amazing views as well! We ate twice at the restaurant and food was great and very good prices as well. I recommend this place)

Beware and do not eat there.
They food poisoned me so I ended up in hospital which destroyed there review plus there has never been an apology. they even had the audacity to charge my partner for the meal I had the night before that poisoned me. There has never been an apology even after emailing them. The view was good but I still think it is better to be closer to town.

dreadful! Not what it says on the packet!
I picked this hotel for the location and views. From the minute we arrived the manager on reception was very dismissive, he gave us no information on where our room was just said first floor the key is in the door! Watched us struggle with two cases up the stairs. So, the rooms looked beautiful great furniture and apartment set up, but no plates, cutlery etc. No information in the room so had to keep pestering the manager on reception on as to where we could order food, when breakfast was, where to get pool towels etc. They were so under staffed one poor guy was doing everything. It isn't a problem to us if things are missing in the rooms eg toilet paper or things aren't working it is how staff deal with it. So once the guy replenished our room we sat down to the view. Went to open the blinds of the bedroom, view of the road, in full view of the parked drivers! balcony - you couldn't go out on so narrow and ours had broken glass and cigerette butts! Ok try the lounge for the mountain view as paid for! One blind wouldn't raise and we just had a mass of wires facing us! The manager just shrugged his shoulders and said he would see maintainance, which he clearly didn't do. ok we would go up to the rooftop terrace and eat and see the views, no luck. Closed for maintainance! So no beautiful view totally mis-sold on that. I asked about a different room and he said they were full. Pool - lovely, food basic.Such a shame, could be gorgeous in the right hands.

Would've been a nice hotel had the shower worked and/or the hotel had put in any effort to fix it quickly. Otherwise the staff were pleasant and attentive, and the food reasonable. However, it fels like there are better options for the money.

Very disappointed by the hotel
Our stay did not start as planned. We arrived at 8PM, but our room was not totally ready, as the towels were not in the room and there was a bad smell in the room (even the employee noticed the smell and propose to spray the room with some perfum). Then, right after that we noticed that our TV did not work, so we advised the front desk employee. He did all he can to make the TV works, but he was not able to fix the problem, so we spent the evening without any TV. The employee told us that the problem would be fixed for the next day (problem with the service provider). The second day, we left the hotel to walk in the city. However, before we left the hotel, we reminded to the front desk employee that our TV needed to be fixed. When we came back to the hotel, 7 hours later, we noticed that the TV was still not working. We then asked, once again, for someone to fix the problem, but nothing was done. Actually, three employees were watching cricket on the TV in the lobby, instead of trying to help us. Finally, on the last day, we needed to get to the train station around 7:45AM. We advised the front desk employee that we would need a taxi around 7:30AM (it was 7:00AM when we advised him. When we came downstairs at 7:30, the employee had not called any tuk tuk... All this to say that we did not feel like the employees at the front desk care about us, except the one who was working on the first night of our stay

Rooftop pool overlooking Kandy was wonderful. Gym was lacking but at least it was something (plus a view). We had breakfast and dinner included, breakfast was a buffet and dinner we chose off the menu includig icecream for dessert. Our last norning we left at 4am and we had a takeaway breakfast all ready to go! Location a bit outside of Kandy up on the hill 200rp tuktuk

Best infinity pool ever!
We stayed at the hotel for only one night. It was a very pleasant stay, the staff was very friendly, the room was wonderful (we even got a free upgrade) and the rooftop pool and jacuzzi were absolutely amazing. The breakfast was delicious - freshly prepared eggs of your choice, string hoppers, tropical fruit and freshly squeezed juice... Would definitely recommend. Good value for money.

A very pleasant apart hotel, and great value for money. The staff were very warm and welcoming. And the room was spacious and lovely. Also a lovely bathroom and shower. The views from the room were spectacular, and the rooftop boasted a small infinity pool with mountainous views. Very good value, and a reasonable breakfast. Staff were always happy to help with any queries. I would just say that the pool needed to be cleaned more often. It was also a shame there was a jacuzzi that was not cleaned much, or was kept warm.

fantastic view in totally new hotel
Hotel is completely new and has a great location with one of the best sights over Kandy!! Seems a little artificial though and like it was constructed in a hurry. Food was delicious - the employees are very friendly. Sometimes a little too friendly standing next to your table while you are eating and repeatedly ask if we were happy. We were totally happy! :-) But at the end it seemed a bit to desperate to make us feel well. Less is more :-)

Brand new hotel with great apartments and views
This hotel is brand spanking new and in great condition. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable. The building is a stones throw away from the Kandy city (by vehicle) including the temple. On the top floor there's a nice infinity pool and roof top with amazing views of the city, especially at night. I recommend you have dinner on the rooftop at least once (if it's not raining). The only issue we had was with dinner, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so all meals are served inside the rooms (the rooms have a dining table and ample space for this) however if the kitchen is busy they might take some time. I hope they sort this out soon, but just to be sure I recommend you order early. Other than this this I couldn't recommend this place more, you will enjoy your stay and be very comfortable.

Superb pool, service was great
My wife and I had a lovely two-night stay here in September. Though the hotel is in a residential area, the views from the pool and roof area are phenomenal. The pool itself has to be one of the best we've been in. The hotel manager, Sampath, also went out of his way to help us many times. Always had a smile on his face, and a wonderfully friendly manner. The breakfast was excellent also. Would definitely recommend, and stay again.

Kiva hotelli hyvällä näköalapaikalla ja tuktukilla Kandyn keskustaan lyhyt matka. Huone oli siisti ja mukavan moderni, myös allasalue oli hyvin huolehdittu ja hyväkuntoinen. Työntekijät olivat myös erittäin ystävällisiä. Yleisilmeeltään varsin mukava hotelli, mutta miinusta itseltäni tulee hotellin ravintolan palveluista; ensimmäisenä aamuna oli aamupalabuffet, mutta kahtena muuna aamuna oli tarjoiltu aamiainen. Olisi ollut mukavaa, että jokaisena aamuna olisi ollut buffet, eikä vain joinakin päivinä. Kävimme myös illallistamassa pari kertaa hotellin ravintolassa, jossa odotukset eivät aivan kohdanneet todellisuutta. Ruoan sai hyvin hitaasti eikä ollut laadultaan kovinkaan hyvää. Esimerkiksi hampurilaisaterian pihvi oli korvattu leikkeleellä, vaikka ruokalistan kuvassa oli pihvinä kunnon naudanlihapihvi. Kokonaisuudessaan majoittuminen oli hyvä kokemus, mutta ravintolan palveluissa olisi toivomisen varaa.

Pluss: Flott familierom - stort, rent og komfortabelt. Minus: Ligger litt langt fra sentrum. Få gjester. Flott takrestaurant som ikke var åpen. Hadde nesten ingenting av maten vi bestilte fra menyen. Ikke vin og øl (muligens muslimsk).

L’hôtel est relativement neuf par rapport aux autres hôtels de kandy Mais il y a des travaux en ce moment Il y a bcp de chiens qui hurlent à la morts La vue depuis la piscine est sympa. Il s’agit d’un appart hotel Le personnel fait ce qui peut pour nous aider mais nous sommes au Sri Lanka xxx

Forferdelig! Awful experience
View 360 var under renovering under vårt opphold. Bassenget var stengt, rommet var ekstremt skittent, tegn etter vannlekkasje i taket på stuen. Kjøkkenet var tomt! ingen glass, fat, bestikk, kopper eller kjørler. Det var et forferdelig støy døgnet rundt og vi måtte dra bort fra hotellet for å få litt ro. Hele natten var det mengder med hunder som ulte og bjeffet, på dagtid var det renoveringsarbeid, hotellet burde vært stengt under det massive arbeidet. Wi-Fi virket ikke. Utenfor var det flere alvorlige skadde hunder, ene dro bakbeina etter seg og kunne ikke gå.. personalet gjorde ingenting!

Magnifique vue de la piscine
Hotel sur les hauteur de Kandy. Vue panoramique superbe. Belle piscine sur le rooftop, calme et perché autour de la ville et la forêt. Des singes peuve't s'inviter sur votre terrasse.Que demander de plus?

Nice Hotel, awesome view
Staff was very kind and helpfull. The room was clean and comfortable. We liked to watch movies every evening. Pool was small but the view is awesome. It is difficult to walk around the city because of traffic so you should have a driver.

God standard litt utenfor sentrum
Store, fine rom og flott basseng på taket. Ligger litt utenfor sentrum, ca 5-10 min med tuk-tuk, men vi syns det gikk helt fint.

Not worth the money
Don't get me wrong, the overall staff is very friendly. But the man behind te frontdesk.. I think he could speak English, but he just did not want to because he did not wanted to help us. We had a couple of problems with the room: stinky sewer in the bathroom, no hot water, leaking toilet. No real big issues overall but when we stated them to the manager he said he would fix it. He left the frontdesk and after 10 minutes of waiting we figured out he was having breakfast in the room next to the frontdesk. This was only one example but I dont have the time to write them all down.. Again, the rest of the staff was really friendly. Breakfast: very poor Conclusion: not worth the 100+ euro's a night. I would rate it about 30 euro's a night.

Lejlighederne ligger et par km uden for kandy med hunde der gør og larmende rense anlæg til pool i den lejlighed vi havde. Den larmede hele natten. Den ene bruser havde kun koldt vand. Morgenmaden var ekstrem dårlig. De prøvede at tage dobbelt pris selv Om vigavde en bekræftelse fra hotel.com på prisen
