The staff at Riu Jalisco was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. This resort is extremely family friendly and my kids really enjoyed it. The rooms aren’t great but they aren’t bad either and are on the smaller side. I would definitely go back.

Overall, our stay was average. Good parts about the hotel - Appearance and location , the pool is great for families and they offer a variety of restaurants. Bad parts about the hotel - The hallways are noisy at night and when people come late after a night of celebrating, when they slam the door you can hear it 5 rooms away! My 10 yrs. old Daughter had a bad experience with eating salmon and got a bone stuck in her throat. When we notified the waiter (Salvador) he stated, "What's wrong, doesn't she know how to eat?" - Not good customer service!! Lack of empathy on his part. We had to contact the hotel doctor for assistance. Having already stayed at the RIU - Las Americas & Riu Cancun & Riu Republica - this resort is lacking by comparison. We enjoyed our stay but were not completely satisfied.
