Lovely quaint and quiet little hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is close to everything in the CBD and the train as long as you can manage walking up a bit of a hill at the end of the day.

Pleasant welcoming staff. Room basic, just bath towels, shower good, breakfast OK just cereal, cornflakes and weetbix and toast and spreads. Tea and coffee. No TV just watch TV in sitting room, tea and coffee all day, help yourself. If you want something basic but better than a backpackers this is OK, near Central station and shops, bit of an uphill walk from the station if you got luggage, but I'm 72!

A gem, quaint traditional guest house.
Clean tidy close to central station. Shared facilities include lockable shower and toilet all to yourself, it's almost like an ensuite or ask for a room with ensuite.

Nice clean comfortable, friendly & helpful
I was meet by a nice friendly helpful lady. The room very clean, tidy as was shared Bathroom and bed comfortable with light breakfast. Very convenient to the train and business or shopping all in short walks and places to buy meals, O Bar around the corner good specials and meal
