Hotel location may seem away from city center but still very easy to access to underground train or MRT. The hotel condition is fair, though looks dated but still function and acceptable clean; suitable for a traveller who spends most time out from the room. Wi-Fi is available in the room for free with separate SSID and password this is nice for a little extra security; Wi-Fi speed is fine. I like the power outlet next to the bed which may be very important now a day for people who like to scroll social media before sleep or reach out the first thing in the morning.

The hotel while not fancy was comfortable and clean. It was very conveniently located close to MRT and a variety of food options.

The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location! The room was smelly, the pillow cover was dirty with stains, the toilet smelled like sewage, and some spots on the ceiling were cover with mold.

We stayed here for one night & it was great. Very helpful staff & nice room. There was a taxi outside for us at 4:45am ready to take us to the airport! Highly recommend

They don't have enough staff and facilities to handle travellers. = Waiting, waiting and waiting. Air circulation is not good. Air conditioning is not cold enough in the room. Convenient, it locates right on top of MRT.

Lavender is a clean and decent place. Best part is its adjacent to Singapore Metro (MRT) which makes it very convenient to move around. Also there are quite a few eating and daily need shopping places nearby

Room is very small with a miniscule shower stall. Anyone with larger than average build would find it challenging to shower with comfort. The hot water is not well regulated, most of the time it’s very hot even with the tap turned all the way to cold. The air conditioning is centralized at a cold 21-22C regardless of what you set it to. The best part about this hotel is the location near MRT and its food options downstairs.

We stayed in room 12-25. The air conditioning didn’t work properly. We couldn’t control the temperature - inept on dropping…to 18 degrees. If we turn off the air conditioning, the room was not warm! Otherwise it was a good stay for one night.

You get for what you pay
Negative : My 3 nights stay at V Hotel Lavender was unpleasant because my room was very cold even after 2 maintenance men came to fix the themometer. The window view was 100% blocked with the big wall of the next building. Positive : Metro station was right at the corner for those who want to take train t go around plus 2 reasonable food courts within several steps away.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DONT STAY HERE! Terrible customer service experience! The manager and staff displayed incompetence. Despite requesting early check-in due to feeling unwell, we waited since 8 am while others who arrived later got rooms promptly. Finally, when we received our room at 12 pm, the staff’s attitude was dismissive, saying, "You wanted a room? Here's your room, Chill Now." Complaints were met with an inadequate response from the manager. Feeling disrespected and utterly disappointed as customers. Not a great way to begin a vacation!

For the price you pay it’s not worth it. I was in a tiny room next to the elevator and the noise from that continuous all night, sounds like an airplane taking off all night.

Good Location
Rooms on the small side but clean, very comfortable and with good views (higher floors). Location is ideal with MRT and buses a minute or two away, and small food court even less.

The location of this hotel was absolutely amazing and that’s why I booked it along with the reasonable cost. It was super convenient to have the MRT right below , and also the variety of food and drink available without having to venture very far . The staff and check in were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were decently appointed with anything you may need. The shower was excellent pressure and good hot water. Though I would not say this was a luxury hotel as such , but if you are on a city break and intend to be out all day – it’s perfect location to get anywhere and walking distance from many interesting places like Arab Street or Little India . I also loved the fact that it was so easy to get to and from the airport. The hotel is quite a busy hotel with lots of large groups arriving and leaving daily – so there tends to be a lot of hustle and bustle certain times of the day but that did not bother me . Though I did not use the pool to swim , I did go and relax here a few times and it was a nice atmosphere . I did not try the restaurant but I am sure it would have been nice. There was a really convenient money change facility right outside the hotel too. I would def recommend for anyone who wants to explore Singapore for a few days.
