superb and very good location
Great location and nice hotel but decor is a little tired
Very surprised that this top class hotel didn't have any beauty or hairdressing facilities
Our room was really nice and big. The front desk person even
Room was very big, decoration marvellous, very well equiped, clean, in a location where there are many restaurants, public transport too. Nevertheless, too far from the center of town and places to visit. It's perfect on the way from or to the airport when leaving (there's a free shuttle).
Good experience, staff friendly, good location. will stay again next time.
Comfortable hotel with good connections to transport systems and shops. Room good, excellent bed and bathroom facilities. Pool and gym available 24/7. A/C efficient and kept room at comfortable temperature. Didn’t eat in hotel as there are loads of local restaurants in the area and in Singapore in ...

Shopping is a major attraction of Singapore, with everything from shopping malls to cultural markets on offer, and the products available varying from electronics to Indian spices. Antiques, high fashion, Peranakan handicrafts and tea can all be purchased, with areas like Orchard Road, Chinatown and Little India being the most popular areas for shopping in Singapore.
Visitors come from all over the world to go shopping in Singapore, and thankfully there are plenty of hotels to cater to those who love to shop, with the majority being in the city centre. In fact, there are over 150 shopping hotels in Singapore that are great for those who want to spend days in the malls, markets and boutiques, and then be able to relax close by in the evening.
Shopping hotels in Singapore range from budget one-star hostels to lavish five-star hotels with services and prices to match. This means that whether you are here to shop along the alleyways of Chinatown or Little India for trinkets and other goods, or whether you want to buy known label brands in a mall in the Orchard Road area, there is sure to be a suitable place to stay nearby.
These properties are both big name brand hotels like Hilton Singapore, Swissotel Merchant Court and Sheraton Towers Singapore, as well as small independent establishments that are just as good in terms of comfort level for shoppers visiting the city-state. No matter what class, the majority of these places to stay offer high-speed internet and air-conditioning in most of their rooms. Some also have a spa on site, like The St. Regis Singapore and Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, while others, like Orchard Hotel Singapore, have a kids’ club.
You don’t need to necessarily stay right in the city centre to enjoy shopping in Singapore, as it has an excellent public transportation network, making it easy to stay in a hotel in a quieter area of the city-state, while still being able to easily access its huge variety of shopping options.
