Nice hotel but it's way over priced. Unfortunate that you have to pay for For everything single thing you use. LITERALLY. Fee for a fridge? Ridiculous. My daughters Milk spoiled. I was calling front staff for parking questions and NO ANSWER the 10 times I called. When I got to the front desk I asked them "you guys don't answer your phones" and he respond with "no we don't" being sarcastic is not customer service. The room was nice and clean the view was ok the bed was a joke for being a "king size" more like a full. Definitely not a family place. And definitely not worth the price.

below Market St, but still centrally located.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, not snobbish. The doorman on duty in the afternoon assisted us with a pleasant attitude. He also had some helpful tips that made our stay that much more enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and quiet, and had a temperature control that was easy to adjust. I would recommend it highly, especially if one does not have to drive into the city and pay for parking. Even the public parking was on the high side.

Very good location

Posted 07-May-2016
Pros: Location
We stayed for 3 nts, very convenient location, we did all the site with bus/streetcar/cable car. Don't forget to add in the per night facility fee, not negotiable. This may be the norm in the city, but still adds fifteen per cent in our case. The room was spacious and clean, the concierge was helpful.

Good location near so many things downtown

Posted 06-May-2016
Few things that bothered me was the additional "resort fee" per day that we had to pay in addition to the rate and all that it includes that was useful to us was wifi. (Fitness center I guess also but we didn't want to use that). So basically we paid an addition $60 to use wifi for not even 48hrs. They didn't have room service which was annoying considering the 4 star rating. I'd think that's pretty basic. The hotel and amenities and such were not impressive but the staff was very friendly.

Hi Kim, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you were pleased with the hospitality services that was provided by out team. In the past year we launched our facility fee which gives our guest access to a multitude of amenity and discount offers. We would like for these enhancements to further expand upon our guest experiences. The facility fee is $30 daily and covers amenities from in-room Starbucks Coffee, bottled water, newspaper, bicycle rental, discounts on experiential service offerings via our concierge desk and more. We hope you will return for another stay when you are back in town.

Great location

Posted 30-Apr-2016
Stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel is in a great location, the staff are attentive and the room clean with very comfortable bedding. However the hotel is lacking in a few key areas such as a room fridge. The daily 'resort fee' is outrageous at US$30 per day for some bottled water and WiFi, especially when having travelled through different parts of the west coast for 2 weeks this was the only hotel where WiFi wasn't included in the room fee. I would stay here again, only if I secured a great room rate during a sale and did not pay full rates.

Excellent Hotel But Terrible Hidden Costs

Posted 29-Apr-2016
Pros: Everything except the pricing structure
Cons: stop fleecing us on everything
Location: you're close to the city center - a taxi to fisherman's wharf is 12-15 bucks - starbucks a block up, california pizza kitchen directly opposite, Moma
This is a superb hotel with floor to ceiling windows in our room and great views over the bay. Smart, clean, friendly an the fastest check-in ever - plus a nice (but expensive) shop by the elevators with everything you might have forgotten or want - Based on that alone I would rate as 5 stars. I never tried the restaurant because a California Pizza Kitchen was opposite and the rest of the city was open for exploration but it looked smart (and I suspect pricey) But The rule that "the nicer and more expensive the hotel the less freebies are included in the price" really applies here. I am seriously irked by the additional charges. When you look on expedia the hotel looks like a great price for a city center hotel. However at check-in you have to pay an extra 30 dollars a day "resort fee". This is an outrageous bait and switch on headline pricing. This fee (according to expedia) covers internet, however my experience was wifi in the room was still 24.95 extra a night (per device connected!!!) - I refused to pay this and used the hotspot feature on my phone quite happily. In addition parking was 66.95 per day! That is also outrageous (although I did use it). I noticed on my second day that directly opposite the hotel is a parking structure which is likely a lot cheaper (turn right down a small street immediately after driving past the hotel lobby) The shop is nice but 3.49 for a bottle of coke is too high. The liquor store next door isn't cheap but sells for 1.99
