모던하고 깔끔한 스타우드 호텔

위치며 시설이며 다 마음에 들었습니다. 유니온 스퀘어 한복판은 거지들에 차들에 지저분한데 적당히 공원 근처로 떨어져있으면서도 걸어서 5-10분 걸이에 쇼핑몰에 케이블카 정류장에 있을건 다 있어서 정말 편리했습니다. 모던하고 깔끔했구요 다만 필리핀 도어맨과 리셉션 직원이 셔틀버스 없고 택시 잡아도 비싸고 멀리 내려준다고 인하우스 택시 50불짜리 타라고 강력히 권유 했는데 다행히 안속고 우버 풀로 공항에 19달러로 왔습니다. 나중에 보니 셔틀버스도 하루전에 신청 가능한것도 같았어요. 속지말고 확인해보셔요! 전반적으론 다시 묵고싶은 호텔입니다. 추천드려요

No brainer, book this hotel now!

We're from Santa Cruz, just an hour south of SF and familiar with the city. This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Union Square, Chinatown, the Giants, just off Market and 3rd - we hit up all of 'em - and is in a clean, business section of town by Moscone / Metreon. We booked via Expedia and were upgraded to the top floor. The hotel is immaculate, modern and freshly renovated with a more than helpful staff. We're definitely staying here again, no question.

The Suites

Pros: The location, the looby
Cons: Room updates
Location: museums, restaurants, shopping, everything city has to offer
I stayed in a suite and the views were spectacular and the room size was huge at 450 + sq ft. It was very clean as well. I was disappointed in a few things: No mini bar for drinks, no room service and the decor and room finishes felt very corporate/standard. If I had paid full price I would have been upset.

Awesome location with helpful staff and great view

Everything from check in to the rooms to the delicious breakfast exceeded expectations. My only disappointment was a day where the newspapers had all been taken.

Not terrible, but I expected more

Pros: Initial service and location
Cons: disclosure of all fees before you book, attitude of staff when there's a misunderstanding, option to pay bond in cash (for quick easy return)
When booking this hotel it looked great. Great location, photos seemed nice and the price seemed about right for what I was getting (despite the hidden "resort" fee). When I got there the staff seemed friendly enough, no complaints there. The room was a little tighter than I expected but that was fine considering the location. The biggest issue I had was the thin walls, every sound, creak, voice and bump could be heard as if it was in the same room. I don't know where they were but I could hear someone constantly vomiting or something very loudly at about 2am and it sounded like it was in my bathroom. When that subsided all I could here was creaking framework and I had to put some music on to get some sleep, which I'm not used to doing. I could have looked past this but when I checked out they told me I needed to pay an extra $30 per night for some reason, I though I had already paid this as a "resort fee" but apparently it was something different. I was too jet lagged and tired to care so I just went with it. I asked how long it would take for my bond to be returned to my card and they said 4 days! As I was travelling, this was part of my spending money. I wasn't warned at all of the amount of time it would take when I checked in, and the attitude of the staff seemed a lot different like I should have known all this. I wouldn't consider this a quality hotel at all. It's okay, but not worth the price.

First time visit- great impression

Stayed here a single night, was upgraded to a higher floor with a great view. Simple decor, comfortable bed and friendly staff at check in. I slept soundly, was very happy with the overall experience. I look forward to a second stay in July, hope it's good as well!

The hotel was in one of the most convenient locations possible. In the span of a 1 night stay, we were able to visit multiple landmarks in San Francisco just by walking.

Very good hotel with excellent customer service

Definitely nice hotel with good location. I've stayed at this hotel more than five times. Starbucks is just cross the street. And I forgot to bring my personal eye solution and toothbrush couple times, the CVS is just near by. Actually, there are lots of stores just near the hotel, very convenient! Though it needs to take few minutes to get to union square, it's not that crowded outside the gate of the hotel. Outside Some other hotels'gate is amazingly crowded!!! Lots of tourists!!!!!. It won't happen at this hotel. The customer service is superb. The front desk staff is so nice and smiled all the time. And I like the room's bed so much. I can't describe how comfortable it is! Everything is pretty clean!!!!!!!!!! I have a good time with my boyfriend.
