The property and staff are fantastic. The park areas and the abjointing open space needs attention with trash, debris and unsightly graffiti.

Though the stay was very good and it served decent meals, there were few restaurants available locally. It’s about 30 minute train ride into Barcelona city centre and it takes about 10 mins walk from Cerdanyola del Vailes Railway station. The railways seems to have a lack of investment as through out my stay units had broke down or were late or as on the last day they were down to one line. It didn’t matter as I was on holiday. The staff speak limited English and are usually very busy, The hotel is more of a business hotel than a tourist one. There are a number of drinking establishments if you look. A McDonalds and Lidl next door too. Next door is a cafe come bar but the surroundings look a bit desolate, with an lgbt park and a bridge across the main motorway. I wouldn’t recommend as a base for visiting Barcelona City as you’d probably be better off with something more central. If your on a business trip it’s perfect with plenty of parking, good meals and friendly staff

The staff at the hotel were both professional and polite and were able to deal with those last minute things such as a replacement toothbrush etc without any fuss. The hotel is only a short walk away from the town centre and the railway station which has a frequent service in to central Barcelona. The hotel benefits from a secure car park which is free and provides good peace of mind. The hotel is located in a more industrial zone of Ripollet which means over night there can be a lot of loading and unloading taking place and this can be a bit disruptive if you are a light sleeper. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom comes with a shower and has both shampoo and liquid soap provided along with a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was but my preference would be for thicker pillows. Overall I would recommend the hotel, it is a well connected location and means you are also close to the national park and the mountains giving you the best of access to the city and countryside. It also allows you to experience a small town which has a wide variety of shops and places to eat.

Good value
The hotel was clean and modern, the room comfortable. Free secure onsite parking was a great point for us. Plenty of cafe's and convenience stores nearly. Train station was an easy 800m walk and goes directly into the city. If looking to eat out, we highly recommend Calvari Pizzaria.
