"The hotel was great. The front desk staff were so very helpful and courteous. It was also a great location for pick ups for several tours. The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were always very clean. The only down side, which I know you can't help, is that there is construction going on around the hotel. Otherwise I had a good experience."

"We stayed overnight in the family room. The reception lady was very friendly and kindly drove us early morning 7am to the TranzAlpine train station. Fully functional motel room, a little outdated but very clean. The carpets definitely need to some freshen up. Even though our room was right next to the main road, we slept well and hardly heard the traffic."
