This property is always clean, staff are friendly and can park right at the front door. Not the most modern property but has been updated, is super clean with good showers etc. Will definitely stay there again.

Our room was very old, clean and room was up near the highway so trucks etc kept us awake...got up early and left

It was the only one available for our stay. Reception was excellent but the room was very old and needed some TLC. It was clean but the towels were threadbare and pillows were last used on Captain Cooks, Endeavour. The bathroom sink was cracked as well and it could be dangerous.

We couldn't park in front of our unit because of a trailer. We went out for dinner & when we returned a land cruiser & trailer were parallel parked in front of ours & 2 other units. So we had to park across from the unit. On going to bed I moved the bed to pull the cover off & a huntsman ran up the wall. I had just killed it & and then a cockroach ran across the floor of the bathroom so I dealt with that too. Did upset our stay some.

I do apologize I wish you would have called me we have had a lot of earthworks at the back of the motel and unfortunately some unwelcome guests as we are right at the edge of the bush land and their home has been disturbed we have had it all sprayed and thats all we can do. I do apologize and unfortunately we cannot control the parking unless it is bought to our attention.

Highway One A-One!
Nice place to stay for a night or two whilst on business. Clean room, friendly hosts, decent bathroom.

Ordered a room with two queen beds, then told we have been upgraded to another room. 1 queen and a single bed located at the back of the property. Shower exhaust fan didnt work , and hadn't for some time.

It’s on the main Highway so the surrounding area is not pretty but it’s ok priced and comfortable. Rooms are not 5 star but they are fine. I always get a good rest here. Service has always been great but on the last stay the drinking glasses were un washed. They have a review system in place so I don’t think this will happen again. Late check in is great. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Comfortable
Room is dated but spacious with really comfortable bed, great shower. We were glad we were at back of motel, as front rooms would get a bit of traffic noise from highway traffic.

Absolutely disgusting. In all our years of travel this will rate the worst experience. I booked this based on the reviews which simply don’t add up plus we arrived late when staff had gone, they left the key in the door for us which was unusual but appreciated until we saw what we had to stay in. The bed linen and blanket stained and dirty, sheets had not been changed just pulled up. Looked like body fluid stains and hair (still makes me shudder) Got my own linen out of my car and tried to sleep through the rattling of the old aircon. Took photos of the place as a reminder not to trust your reviews they must be false. Sad that it left a taint on my memories of ‘Port Disgusta’

This is a budget Motel with a Restaurant. We try and stay with accommodation that has an eatery, the night we stayed it was not open, blast. As a budget Motel it has a clientele that are in general "blue collar" so there is early movers. As we were travelling to Broken Hill it was situated on the right side of town.

It is a budget Motel in my mind that has a good following of tradesman. It is clean but not modern. We felt the cold overnight without heating, or if there was we were ignorant of the fact. A very basic but very well managed restaurant with goodly portions and or serves. We are staying there on our way back from Alice Springs.

Was disappointed with cleanliness of room. Sheet pillow cases were old and yellowish. No kettle was there not even a box of tissues. I was in a non smoking room and area outside non smoking yet another guest was outside their room smoking. Why put them there? L

O.K. this was an overnight stay and I wouldn't stay any longer than that. Woken up at 4.30am by some idiot starting his diesel ute and kept it running for a good half an hour.

Not sure if all the rooms were like mine. There is an inside door that can be used to access the next room with a big gap at the bottom. There was no secrecy and could easily here conversation from guests next door as well as toilet flushing and worst of all listening to their TV!
