The natural beauty is good and intact . However the Villa was a bit run down . Breakfast spread was good . Several activities to do within the resort specially for children.
Place is run down . Service attitude is so bad . Everyone seems to be doing favour To you while serving . There was a wedding next day and all other guests were being ignored

Highly overpriced property with service standard not up to the mark.
complimentary breakfast was of pity bad quality.
Not recomended at 12k price.Same quality you can easily get in 4-6k range
The food options are limited and the breakfast room was messy. We were told that the breakfast ends at 10:30 but the guests were coming until 11:30 and more importantly there was no place for them to be seated.
Monsoon season, hence the location is excellent for a short trip.
I had changed the booking name, but they had it as a double booking, some confusion, but it was sorted out to my satisfaction.
A must go place near Mumbai....
It is not just hotel or rooms its quite more than that.. a gateway far from city.. which is quite, well maintained, secured and so many things to do inside you may not want to get out of it. Wave pool, swimming, boating, adventure sports and what not.. enjoyed the weekend
Thank you so much, your response means a lot to us, hope we will get a chance to serve you soon.

Over-priced for the experience.
Property is okay-ish. They have visible abandoned lots that are used as junkyards for abandoned rusted metal machines and other spare parts. The staff at the Namak restaurant tries to be nice but are negligent even during non-peak traffic, the food is very good though. The service at the middle-eastern restaurant is very good as is the food.
I was there for one night on 1st July 2017. When I reached at reception for check-in it was crowded and noisy. Guests were waiting in ques, there were only two check-in counters. After half an hour when my turn comes there was no reservation in my name. After a lot of houch-pouch, only one room has confirmed though I paid the full amount for two rooms. Ms Arora at reception was not in a mood to help me and she told me to talk to Expedia for the further room. Obviously, it took too much time and I checked-in at 03:00 PM. No need to say that Rooms, Food, Activities are too expensive. It will cost around Rs. 20000-25000 per head per night.
very bad worst holiday of my life. reception was very bad during check-in, no body to bother. room was not clean, mosquito's in the room. TV was not functioning, in-room fridge was not working, 90% of plug points were not functional. manager offered to shift our rooms but no one bothered to act. would not recommend even to my worst enemy.
Everything was perfect. A perfect family weekend. The only thing that was missed is the complimentary cake came at 11pm when my parents anniversary was almost over. It would have been great if the cake had made it in time.

The dinner is expensive
It's good place to stay, but very few places to eat and all of them are expensive
The Front Portion of the cottages were great. However, the other portions like Hermitage cottages etc. was very pathetic. The property has gone in run down condition and is very sad to see the damaged left overs.
We stayed at the Cabana. We had a tiny plunge pool facing the Lake, it was too good. They had a nice patio outside the room to sit on and also some beds outdoor where we could just lie down and relax. The weather was just ideal at this time of year. Drawbacks the 12 Cabana's are very close to each other and we could hear other guests talking, something I wouldnt expect from such a luxury hotel.
The Aussie Rooms are nice wooden chalets and have seating arrangement on the porch. Hardly any view though. Also no bathtub.
Aamby Valley per-se is a great place if you enjoy the clean air, cycling, jogging and water sports. A great place to unwind for a few days. Facilities are still under development though. The restaurants open only in the evening, only two for lunch. The clubhouse pool is large but water is not temperature controlled and the state of the changing room is abysmal. The pricing of the room as well as the restaurants are more than double of what they deserve. So not good value for money, but if you have money to blow and need to get away from the pollution and haste of city life, a good place to go to.
Absolutely not worth the price they charge. Hotel condition is not maintained. Everything was dirty. Even the linens were dirty. Besides this staff are friendly but do not provide full details about the services of the hotel. Everything in the hotel is charged. And expensive at that. Free wifi is just a scam. It's only free for 1 hour per day. Club facilities are also charged. So totally not worth the cost.
It was a good experience with stay in aamby valley

Not worth if you are going on a weekday as most of restaurants and activities were not operational. Overpriced as it still needs to turn few notches up to get to a 5 star level in terms of service.
Was A Heaven And Had a VIP Treatment From AV Staff
I read some bad reviews before booking so i was bit hesitant whether to go or not to but i went for it and I stayed there from 4th june to 7th june in spanish cottage, I was given VIP treatment through out my stay with their mercedes leaving me from one point to another, Staff support was truly awesome whatever i needed i was given within few minutes, I read a lots of people complaining about food was expensive "Hello tell me which 5 star hotel has a cheap food?".
I booked a aussie room i thought it was the whole chalet like before one floor below and bedroom on top.
No They split a wodden chalet to 2 rooms 1 below 1 above.
They gave us a room on top however we had kids in the below room so they kept ringing the bell for their room buyt i could hear the same they ran around nd i could hear the same... The tree branches n top were long and everytime there was some wind i could hear them knocking the roof.
Pd the difference and moved to the cabbana.
opposite the cabbana they had loud music for a party.i dont know why would they even offer me that.
Glass on 2 sides of the beds and curtains so thin and light colored that light comes in.
Oh yes and i forgot a pair of CK trunks here and they could not find them after i switched to the aussie room with the room below being empty.
Breakfast - I reach at 10:00am and there is waiting.? 30 to 45 mins for breakfast in a five star
** The icebreaker after an hour of waiting people walk in after us dont give their name for waiting and go take the next table that gets empty... What ?
who the hell do you think we are ?? idiots, fools or beggars ?
However i could blame the main desk and duty mager of amby valley so i called him and asked him to come down and see the chaos and mad scence thats was their and all he said i cant come but i will speak to the manger.... I already have spoken ..... but he cant do anything thats why i called him and ... nothing left to say.
Go to other destination if you want bang for bucks
Service is lousy - consider yourself lucky if reception staff nor maintenance staff picks up your call .... and consider yourself LUCKIER if they deliver on whatever little action they agree to do - be it helping with your non-functioning access card or empty tea service trays or a blanket that you might need.
If you want value for (huge) money that you will be spending on this trip - consider some other destination. Only those who are there on a sponsored trip will find it ok as the rates for all outdoor activities and even food are exorbitant.
