100 meters from the metro line 1 so straight to paris center in 10 minutes, and lots of great restaurants in Levalois or Courbevoie and La Defense within walking distance. On the river so great views of Monmatre and eifel tower

We didn't like the hotel at all. I don't know how it was considered 4 stars!! Our room floor looks disgusting and full of stains. We didn't have a mini fridge in our room to keep our water cool in the hot days we were there.

Good value for the money
Pro: close to metro line 1, which is a good line to be on (direct access to major tourist sites, if a bit far; this is metro Zone 3). Good location for the money. Con: location-wise, this is a business district, nothing is open over the weekend; awkwardly located between traintracks and highways/bridges, so not walkable at all. I didn't book the breakfast thinking that I would eat around the hotel, but there was no good options. The breakfast was 19.50 Euros, which I thought was a bit pricey. The staff was very unprofessional, seemed very inexperienced. I complained about dirty grouts in the shower and instead of cleaning it, they offered me a free bottle of beer. They also didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about the area. All in all, a solid 8/10, given the location and the value.

Excellent location, few mins to M1 station, nice and clean room, good river view with Eiffel Tower, welcome gift for small kids, standard hotel buffet breakfast, the only feedback is the ventilation of the room could improved, it’s a bit weak

Overall ok. The fitness center needs some love, and some of the staff need some training. The hotel is well located on the esplanade La Défense, very close to shopping centres, and on the metro Line 1, few stations alway from all Paris touristic attractions.

Extremely opposite of what has been shown in images on the website. Starting with access roads to hotel, then it’s parking (self-drive) was nightmare. Accessing parking gave extremely unsafe feeling as one has to navigate through multiple twists and turns to find spots that are for Novotel. The receptionist is very terrible and appeared biased. Several issues: 1. No dinner or Lunch or willingness to accommodate when we have prepaid half board, 2. Rooms are extremely tiny! Don’t go by any photos on websites. Too tight, 3. Extremely poor quality condiments in the room….4. Air conditioner is actually an oven with its fan ON! Nothing works!! Terrible experience with Novotel, and will never use this one again ever!

2days before our stay we were moved to some other Novotel hotel that was more further from city center and was not more than 2 star though hotel claims it to be 4 star. It was not a pleasant stay or trip due to last moment change. Amenities and services were below standard and definitely not what we paid for. I’ve been using Expedia exclusively for the longest time and has not had this kind of disappointment and well anticipated vacation got ruined.

A Good place to stay
The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The breakfast was good, the area around was quiet, but the metro station was a minute away. The room was not exactly spacious but was good. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but overall that could be overlooked. Had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from our window too.

Great and nice hotel to stay at with good connection to train lines. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would stay there again but I wouldn’t recommend dinner at the hotel. The food isn’t great

Decently located in La Defense right on the Seine River. It will be an expensive uber right into the tourist areas of the city. Most staff was rather rude. Nice hotel, but the staff attitude makes me not want to stay here again.

Love Paris!
Great trip to Paris. Only issue we had with the hotel was it was very hot in the rooms at night but once we asked at reception it was explained that there was a central air conditioning system and best not to have it on at all and it would be cooler! So last two nights were much better. Overall an excellent position to easily get into Paris. The metro was 2 minutes walk away and you just took the yellow M1 line in and you could get to the centre, there were loads of stops along this route leading to all the sites you’d want to see. Great holiday.
