Such a novel experience and definitely recommended! The room is obviously not huge but big enough for the bed and a small set of drawers, there is a balcony and from our treehouse we could see Agung! The electricity works well though we had a couple of power cuts (came back on within 15 minutes). Only thing we had to do was string up our own mosquito net but this wasn’t too hard. The bathrooms are clean and though the shower is cold it’s refreshing. The spaces to chill out below the trees are wicked with hammocks and things. Getting around is simple if you take one of the treehouse maps and rent a scooter (impossible to walk and expensive to hire a driver) and it’s cheap and easy to do this at reception, all the staff are very friendly and willing to help! Breakfast is simple but tasty in the form of fried bananas with either tea or coffee. All in all if you’re a fan of camping in a tent you’ll be a fan of staying in a treehouse!
Long story short, don't bother. The tree houses are really cool from the outside until you open the door. Was a bit of a dump in the inside. There was roof debris all over my bed. Holes every where in the siding, so dont expect to be protected from mosquitoes or other pests. A super dirty fan. Gross looking sheets and beding. And worst of all, my friend had a rat come into his tree fort and chew into some protein powder he had with him. He woke up to the rat on his stuff. We paid for three nights and only stayed for one. Would be better if they sealed the tree fort off from bugs and pest and actually cleaned the place. Pretty bad
Really nice experience.
Very basic, but you know that up front.
The only thing I didn't get is why they're playing pretty loud music all the time. That's not really what people hope to find there.
