Nobody was at the desk when we arrived and there was a sign directing guests to call on the house phone to reach a staffperson. The house phone didn't even have a dial tone and didn't work. I waited 15 minutes for someone to appearad he checked us in and directed us to our room on a map. The room was dirty and the sheets had not been changed and were covered in the remains of what appeared to be an everything bagel. I went to the desk and he handed me sheets. I guess having the guests make their own beds saves them maid service costs. That evening the smell of Marijuana smoke kept creeping into the room from vents or past the large gaps between the door and doorjamb. The next morning we had planned on cooking bacon and eggs in the kitchen but found the cooktop wouldn't get hot enough to prepare food. We also discovered that the shower curtain was so short that water from the shower got all over the floor. Asked for a replacement curtain and two days later found one on the corner of the bed. They went into the bathroom because they turned off the lights and fan I had left on to dry the floor but evidently it was up to the guest again to do maintenance tasks. Their continental breakfast consisted of packets of instant oatmeal and muffins which you had to ask for because the basket containing them was always empty. The desk clerk explained that if they leave the basket full the homeless people they have housed there take them all. So in a nutshell avoid this dump at all costs.

Our room was just fine, and we had no problem with the staff or facility. Front desk was helpful for our needs. However there was screaming from other rooms at least 3 of our 4 nights, foot traffic after midnight every night outside our door. on our last night the room beside us punching the wall hard enough to cause electrical flickering in our room and (he) was screaming for at least a half hour.

It was very close to the Metro and we took it every day to go to DC, very close to a lot of restaurants, what I didn't like was some of the people hanging around the area and the fact that it was kind of dated but it was clean and the people running it or owning it were very helpful and nice and they had coffee available and continental breakfast in the morning it was a big plus

The property isn't aesthetically beautiful or anything, but it's clean and safe. The staff was friendly. It is definitely no-frills. If all you need is a clean bed and shower, then it's fine. I was surprised/disappointed that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. There wasn't anything in the room. No cups, plates, silverware, pots/pans, etc. There was a fridge, a stove/oven, and a microwave, but nothing else. I was only there for 1 night so I didn't need anything, but this is an "extended stay" hotel. I don't know if maybe you were staying longer you have to ask for those items? I also saw on the Expedia site and on the hotel's website that the hotel offers free breakfast, which it did not.

It was a nice room , however they booked several people next door and around our room , the ones next door were loud till about 2am and the ones on the other side had a kid banging ball against out side wall at 6 am . and through the morning till I had to bang on wall and tell them to get away from our place, other than that the hotel was very nice, they need to keep their word , told me that was a quiet location , it wasn't at all

I didn’t like anything about this property, it was like a rundown projects property. I checked in and the room was filthy, roaches, food, and a hint of urine in the rugs. This property is used as an apartment complex. This is the worst place I have ever stayed.

I reserved the room with a sofa bed to accommodate our party of three…when we opened the sofa bed there were HUGE stains on the mattress and someone’s sock! The stains were mostly blood. Yes, blood! The room was a non smocking room but it had a very strong odor of smoke and the sofa had cigarette ashes in-between the cushion. Cigarette wrapper on the floor. Stains all over the carpet. Stains all over the counters. The TV didn’t work and if that wasn’t enough the room had roaches. I literally can’t make this up. It is by the far the most DISGUSTING room I have ever stayed in. I am not exaggerating any of this. Do not stay here. When I showed the front desk person the pictures she didn’t flinch and simply said sometimes the mattresses get stains they can’t get out. Sure, but blood stains all over-it looked like a crime scene. Not only is this disgusting but it’s unsanitary and a health concern. If my son and I didn’t check in so late I would have left right then and there. We checked out the next morning.

No extended stays in my future
I was checking in and had to request the kitchen supply and was told they didn’t have it and I needed to try tomorrow. I told them I booked to have a kitchen and even bought groceries so I would be cancelling if they weren’t available. they looked around and found bits and pieces of what was advertised to be included. I then asked for a room on the first floor with parking and when I went into the room I was overwhelmed and disgusted by the cigarette smoke smell. I was there for 30 seconds and then had to get out of that room. When I told the front desk they told me that the issues would be refunded and then when I talked to hotels.com they hadn’t heard about this and no refund was issued. Kind of shady.

I acquired this reservation through Expedia for a Federal Appointment that was cancelled 'by' the US Government a week in advance due to imminent government shutdown at the time. In an attempt to re-schedule my stay OR to get a refund, Expedia attempted repeatedly to contact your location but was not able to get through to anyone at the property to help resolve this. Thus, I never was able to use the reservation and your business STILL charged me even though I never checked in. This is poor service.

Front desk people mostly absent...need to be called from back room to attend to guests. Advertised breakfast included is a stretch...very little food choices and staff does not replenish coffee or cups when they run out unless asked. Room provides one tiny soap and no shampoo/conditioners. No cups or even plastic spoons in room. Do not recommend this place if you can afford another place nearby.

The room had a kitchenette, however, there was no coffee maker. There was a sleeper sofa, but there were no sheets, pillows or blankets for it. I had to go back to the office to as for the coffee maker and for the sheets for the sofa. I did not see a hairdryer or an iron either. The mattress on the sofa was dirty, with breadcrumbs and a dead moth. The description of the hotel stated that there was a free breakfast. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. However, when we got there in the morning, there was nothing there, not even coffee. The staff brought some muffins and granola bars. We asked about coffee, and the staff member said “oh, ok. I have to make it.” We we were pretty disappointed and left to have our breakfast elsewhere.

waited about 15 minutes to check-in (5 PM). No one around. Came back hours later and this time someone was at the desk. Sketchy parking lot!

The outdoor hallway smelled like piss. The tub had grit in the bottom of it that didn't wash away. Otherwise the room was fine.
