The location of this property is great. It isn't within the busy part of the city, but it is within walking distance of most things which is very nice. When you first walk into the hotel, it looks very nice. But as soon as you get to your room it is disappointing as the rooms are SO outdated and the beds are so small and not comfortable. These days you need queens or kings in all rooms not double beds for 4 adults. The bathrooms were SO small and you could not even sit down and use the restroom without the door hitting your knees. The blow dryers were in the worse location and you could barely stretch it out to use it in front of the mirror. The paint on the walls were dripping down from the heat in the bathrooms and the carpet and paint on the walls just looks like a poor job of trying to make it look nice. They definitely need to do remodeling in the rooms to make them look historic but nice at the same time. The lobby looks great, but the rooms need updated bad. Then the breakfast buffet is outrageously expensive per person and it is a buffet but they could add more items to the buffet for the price that is for sure. The bacon was great though!
