My stay was good they need to add night light on table stands and wash cloth and towels for the guest that should be included like all hotel other than that it was pleasant quiet and comfortable I will recommend to friends & family if you're planning for a weekend get away for if you don't want to save a few bucks

I wasnt even let into the property. A man who was half asleep answered very angrily and literslly stated "Why are you knocking on the door?" I told him I had a reservation and he said told me "Well theres no kids (As I had my 3 year old son with me) he then proceeded to close the door in our faces. Absolutely disgusting service.

I was freezing out side with my wife , ringing the bell , and knocking the door , the building don’t have any sings , the number was wrong and We don’t found a person to do my check in . I took a other taxi back to other hotel , I spend more than 80 usd only in taxi . Was just patétic

The receptionist was great. Understaffed. Dirty room and bedroom. Unsafe area. Checked out of the hotel as soon as we checked in. Rowdy neighbors in other rooms. Just not good overall.

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. After being asked to provide our estimated arrival time, we arrived to find the room not yet ready (check in was at/after 3:00 PM and we arrived around 3:30/3:45 PM). We were told that the room had not yet been cleaned per standard required covid standards and it was not « ready » until after 5 PM. The keypad lock on the door to our room worked sporadically, and inside the room, there was no bedspread/quilt, no decorations on the walls and a window missing the screen. The bathrooms were very tiny and lacked hand towels. After checking in the front desk manager said we could call/come down with any questions/concerns until 11 PM. At 10:30 PM, there was no one in the office and several phone calls went unanswered. Unfortunately disappointed in this property and our stay there.

I like the simplicity and attractiveness of the room. The staff went to extra trouble to help me with my luggage. It was about a 1 mile walk from the Metro North through a lively part of the city which I am not use to.

It was the worst place ever code to door did not work was in the hallway for almost a hour and it happen 2 more times while the staff sat there and watched they were very rude to me and my husband the bathroom and shower is in the hallway and the is alot of drug activités

Remote Controler for the television Wasnt in the room not did front desk knew what housekeeping did with. There was a patch of the wall that needed to be touched up and the door looked a bit dirty but overall front desk tried his best to aid me in search for the remote controller.

Quedé sorprendida cuando llegué y no me dejaron entrar. No fueron para nada comprensibles con que yo no sabía cómo manejar la reservación. Me dejaron afuera esperando, sin comprender que la zona es peligrosa yo estaba sola y muy asustada. Para lo peor, cuando llegué me decían que el pago no se había hecho, pero por la mañana me dijeron que ya habían cobrado y no habían reembolsos. Cómo es eso posible? Gracias a su incomprensión pasé la peor experiencia buscando otro hotel en el Bronx. Muchas gracias por conbrarme de nada!!!

I just want to let people know that this place is a scam. There is no hotel or room for you to stay. *****do not book this room***** when I called the guy told me that I had to meet him outside. There was no address and all the buildings foreclosures. I was born in the Bronx and moved away so I wanted to stay close to my family and I thought this woulda been a great place. But the place just didn’t exist and there was a bunch of ppl just smoking and drinking outside that just didn’t look safe. Lesson learned. Couldn’t get my money back which sucked but I am safe and sound. But don’t book this place.

This is a beautiful row home, located in a pleasant Bronx neighborhood and within walking distance of food (grocery, take-out and probably dine-in). I took the train into NYC, but had I driven I could have parked within reasonable walking distance of the guest house (at a parking garage, located near a car repair shop). It was extremely clean and the room was tastefully simple. The shower was a separate room from the bathroom, which was very convenient since the guest house is a shared space. Everything locks securely. The owner/manager quickly responded to my phone calls. I would definitely stay at Morris Guest House again!

The property had bugs and the sheets were not clean. The picture of property is 1000x better then actually the room. It's a lot smaller. Restrooms are in hallway and shared. I would not recommend it.

I had booked this guest house online, I’m not a lawyer so did not peruse the fine print to see they close before 1130pm. When I was flying in they told me that I could not enter the property on arrival and had to ask Expedia for a refund, Expedia has tried calling them without any luck. Still waiting on a response from both and a refund since I was not able to use this night stay
