Nice owners but need some improvement.
The owner is responsive to guests needs. But only the bedroom is air conditioned. In the summer when we went it is very uncomfortable. I would suggest that the owner puts a window unit in the living area also. Kitchen had quite a few breakfast items but it was self serve Bedrooms are small. Beds are small. I think just above twin size, I think it's called full. But we have a King at home so it's very cramped for us. We're from Texas and as they say, everything's bigger in Texas!

Made a reservation 6 months in advance - called to confirm 1 week in advance - said they would call back but never did.The day we arrived the host acted surprised. She gave us a bigger unit but there was day care in the same unit with kids coming in on both mornings at 8 am. The day care manager even walked in our unit 730 pm when we were watching TV = NO PRIVACY.

TERRIBLE and UNSAFE
TERRIBLE. AVOID. Staid there 2 nights ago with my wife. Hard to find, and when we talked to the lady on her phone to try and find the place and she was very rude. She was not expecting us, even though we had made a reservation the day before. We waited in the dark for her for 40 minutes in a bad part of Brooklyn. We were getting haggled by a guy right outside the gated apartment right before she showed up and I'm not sure what would've happened if she would've taken any longer. We finally got in, and then had to share a bathroom and space with 4 other men. These guys were let in a 2:30 AM by the same lady who let us in at 11 PM. They were terribly loud and kept trying to get into our room because... I don't know, maybe they were exploring or didn't know where their room was. She was with them throughout the night, and I came out a couple times to ask them to keep it down. Anyways, I didn't sleep from 2:30 AM till about 5 AM because they were so loud off and on. You could hear everything they were doing and I think they were smoking weed the whole time around the house while we were there. Extremely unprofessional and terrible place to stay. Also pictures are misleading. The place is not NEARLY that nice. Only nice things I can say: we didn't see any cockroaches, the water was warm and we had to make our own breakfast from what was there, but there was stuff to eat at least which is the only reason I'm not giving this review a 100% terrible review. Just be careful. Not safe.

Loved every aspect of our stay! No complaints! We had some trouble with the wi-fi remaining steady in our bedroom, but it wasn't a dealbreaker as there was TV available and the bed was comfy.

Staff were disorganized but friendly and pleasant. This seems to be a roughly-converted apartment on a unfavorable street. Most of the breakfast items available were nearly or very much expired. I did sleep fine in the air conditioning, with not much street noise, and then went far away to find a coffee shop.

I liked that the property was in a quiet part of town!! Very comfortable neighborhood not far from the L train. In the morning we made ourselves a delicious breakfast of bagel egg ham and cheese

Not What I expected...
Arrived at Delz's was told to call before we get there. I tried calling the numbers that I had for them and no one was answering the phone. I arrived there a couple minutes before the time I thought I was going to get there. I called again and finally got someone to answer the phone. I got reprimanded for not calling. I said I called but no one answered the phone. I was told that I needed to wait for someone to let me into the gate. I waited about 10 minutes and "Gloria" showed up to let us in. There is no front desk. Once inside I looked around, the place is very small with a shared bathroom for 5 people and only had one roll of toilet paper for everyone to use and it was halfway used. There were no Clorox wipes to disinfect the bathroom (had to ask for this). The bathroom ledge had hair on it - bathroom not cleaned. The grout had mold on it. The advertisement says that the refrigerator is fully stock. That is not the case (see pictures). You get frozen bagel, cheap yogurt that you buy on sale for 50 cents. There were only 2 eggs in the egg container and one was broken. There were only 3 single serving orange juice for 5 people. There were a few fruits in the fruit bowl. Also there were dishes in the sink that was left there. Extension cords used for power outlets. If you are looking to stay at a place that provide self serve breakfast this is NOT the place to be because there wasn't enough food for 5 people.

It was a interesting stay very nice and accommodating staff. Room was clean . However wasn't notified that bathroom was shared and that people had keys to area in which we were staying . So a random stranger could walk in at any time. Bathroom locked didn't open and as. For breakfast 2 bananas n 2 old bagels were not what we were looking for in our new York expierence.

Accommodations were very nice for the price
I enjoyed my stay at the Delz. You do your own cooking and that was fine with me. Gloria, the manager, was very gracious, fun, and she provided a good supply of food. The place normally would have had another person or two but since it the weather was not so good I had the place to myself.

Quaint bed and breakfast 15 minutes from JFK airpo
This is a quaint bed and breakfast off the beaten path. I was the only guest at the time I stayed so I had all the facilities to myself. There's a big kitchen with all amenities and a huge flat screen tv in my room, which had plenty of space. Gloria, the owner, was very gracious and generous and even stayed up past the time I was supposed to check in because of a delay with my flight. I would recommend getting an uber to and from the airport however because the taxi charged me $33 to get there but Uber was on,y $15.

Accessible and safe location
I personally had everything I needed to have comfortable stay as far as bed, tv, towels and access to kitchen with breakfast available if I wanted.

Woke up with an abnormally swollen eye, which the owner said oh it's just a mosquito bite. Iced it all day, woke up with it swollen all the way shut, checked out and headed to the ER. Must be special mosquitos here. I would not recommend to anyone.

First time at a B&B. Plus Good price, clean room, stocked frige and 10 min walk to subway. Minus this is a two bedroom apt with shared bath, kitchen, etc. Our bedroom was tiny, only could get out of the bed on one side. TV in every room great except when the room next door turn it on at 5:30 am. There is only street parking hard to find a place to park usually a block or two away. 1st night there was a very loud venue across the street that lasted till 3 AM. Would not stay here again.

Delz The B&B was very comfortable and clean.
I had a very positive experience. The owner, Ms, Gloria was there to welcome me, she had some of my favorite foods waiting for me. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and I slept as though I was sleepingin my own bed.

Pleasant experience
Very easy to get around. The neighborhood very safe and the hotel security excellent. Gloria is a very pleasant woman who works hard to meet the needs of her guests. Although we arrived 2 hours prior to check in, she met us at the hotel to get us situated immediately. Very easy to reach her. She always had fresh fruit in the kitchen and plenty of other amenities available for use. Planning on staying there again.

Very practical
I stayed for a week. It's a great apartment with two bedrooms and one bathroom (shared bathroom). Gloria, the landlady, is extremely friendly, will stck your fridge and let you be. Just what I was looking for.

i won't recommend this place to anyone becuase there are many things rhat were disappointing. First thing, you find out that you need to share bathroom with anorher guest only after you arrive. There is no place for keeping coats, at least I could not find and nobidy told. We were a group of 3 adults and a baby and once at night the heating stopped working and that's in Fenruary! The day before it warked too well and the room was very hot. So, not the most comfortable place to stay with a baby. The owner, Gloria, was above expectations. I hope she will manage this place and once it will become a great place to stay.
