There was confusion during the check-in. I’ll simply say that they overbooked to hotel. The other ‘Yes Please’ hotel just down the road was able to accommodate us according to the specifics of our booking (it wasn’t automatic though). The staff was very attentive and culturally congenial. Not for light sleepers -at least on the first floor

Yes yo stay again
Not really nothing to complain about other than the choice of God in the hotel. Manage and all staff very friendly and efficient. Initially booked for 3 nights but ended up extending stay to 11 nights. One of the better budget hotels in the area and will use it again.

Good Location With Great 247 Restaurant
It was a struggle to find the hotel as the taxi driver tried to drop us at various hotels that weren't ours! In the end we got out and walked and using Google Maps it was easy to locate. The reception staff wouldn't let me carry my own bag and then stood in the room wanting a tip despite us not having local currency at our first stay. The room was a bit tired, bed sheets were worn out and had holes and rips in them. The air conditioner unit failed to work, and despite us raising this to staff we were advised to use the fan instead; I specifically booked a hotel with aircon given the 35+ degree summer temperatures! The room had a fridge which was useful to keep bottled water cool, but unfortunately no safe. The wifi was ok once logged in. There was a 247 restaurant next door. Alcohol wasn't served but the food was AMAZING! The location was in a small street just off the main drag in Paharganj, far enough away but close enough. There was usually a tuktuk waiting at the end of the street, but the drivers were greedy so negotiate hard! Hotel staff were friendly and looked after our bags on our last day as we had a late train. there wasn't a safe room, they were just left under the stair but there was security on the door permanently. After Holi we managed to stain the bedsheets with colour and I agreed that we should contribute something for them despite the condition of them being very poor. The hotel charged us 5x the going rate which left a bad taste.

Great value for the money. I have stayed in this hotel for a total of months and they always provide a great experience. Hotel is very nice for the area and is a 2 minute walk to the metro, 10 minute walk to the train station, and just feet from tons of restaurants and shops. Personable and friendly staff puts the experience over the top. Paying just a bit extra will get you an upgraded room.

clean hotel providing great value for money
This is the second time we've stayed in this hotel and there's good reasons for this - the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotless, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable and they represent great value for money. The location of the hotel may put more timid travellers off - the local area is, to use a euphemism, "authentic India". There is a huge market in the next street selling lots of great value items, and the hotel is just round the corner from the metro station; the main train station is only a 25-minute walk away. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but you can place a food order through the reception and a tasty and good value meal will be promptly delivered. The Wi-Fi signal is often quite iffy but, then again, who wants to be glued to their devices when there's a city to explore?
