This is my review from Trip Advisor... Slice of heaven! I'm glad I succumbed to booking at the Sofitel Mumbai BKC as a treat for my family and me. The hotel is grand and luxurious, and so is the service. I read a couple of reviews that mentioned the service wasn't great. But my experience has been anything but that. The service is genuinely warm and friendly. Go the extra bit a book a room that gives you access to Club Millesime. You won't regret it. High Tea in the afternoon and drinks at night. What made my experience here even better is getting to know Steven Mendonsa. He and his team do a bloody brilliant job at Club Millesime and go out of their way to make you feel special. This is not just professional service, it's warm and infectious. It's something that's sorely lacking from a lot of their western hospitality counterparts and makes me wonder, why can't it be so? It's not hard to treat people with kindness. 5 star hotels can feel the same with the various services they offer. What sets them apart is genuine customer service. This place, and in particular, Steven and his crew have it in spades. There aren't any pictures as you can't capture great service in an image. You have to come here experience it.
