The property Hexa Atlas does not exist!
The address presented on Expedia website after booking is made and paid for on Expedia is not honoured at the hotel which has a sign board - The Atlas Grand Hotel.
The phone number registered with Expedia is not in service and upon interacting with the reception it was stated that Expedia booking didn’t show on their bookings for January 23rd -25th.
I was made to pay cash Rs.2500 per night for 2 nights totallling to Rs.5000.
Although I had an airconditioning unit in my room., it was broken and didn’t work.
The toilet had a seat that wasn’t installed properly and so it slid from under me when I sat on it.
The shower didn’t work so I had to use the tap to bathe. The sink was hazard my installed with the faucet spraying water everywhere when opened and the sloped sink didn’t hold the soap provided making it slip down on the floor.
Overall., the hotel room wasn’t worth Rs.2500 per night, however since I was a single female traveller who had arrived at 11 pm in the night and who had already been charged by expedia on my credit card and then later forced to pay cash I was locked into staying with this subpar dwelling.
The staff did try to remain courteous during my stay, after the booking dispute., however it isn’t a hotel Worth advertising on Expedia since this property ownership doesn’t owner foreign credit card payments and instead resort to force guests to pay hard cash in their own Indian currency.
Beware.
