We stayed at this hotel for one night for an early game the next day which was held at the sports complex that's 5 minutes walk away. There are a few hotels on the same street, and this one is the farthest from the complex, but got the best reviews, and that's why we chose this one. The hotel is nice and clean, and even though it's close to high way 101, you won't notice much noise. The only complaint was, the room was way too warm. The thermostat was set to 70, but the temperature was much higher than that. We couldn't fall asleep because of that and ended up turning on A/C to lower the temperature to 74.
Overall, for the price it was fairly average. Clean rooms and Pantene soaps. Breakfast consist of assorted muffins and cold cereal. Coffee topped with flavored creamer (BONUS) and juice station. Free Wi-Fi available and cable television. Bathrooms a bit outdated, however the HOT water shower was relaxing.
Alex greeted me and quickly presented me with my room key. He also mentioned that the Bistro would be open for a couple more hours and would re open in the AM for breakfast. Nice to have such a friendly and efficient greeting after hours on the road.

on check in day, we had to be moved to another room because when we walked into the room that was assigned to us, we found the ac completely removed from the wall with its parts on the floor, and cover on one of the beds.
on check out day, we were told that the water would be shut off in 10 minutes because there was a water main break and the emergency repair needed to be done.
breakfast was better than i thought. they had waffles, sausages, eggs, cereal, and milk to go with the normal continental breakfast.
for a 2-star hotel, i really can't complain.
