We liked the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole hotel. It would have been nice to have either a pool or lounge chairs in the courtyard so that you enjoy the sunshine, since there really was nowhere to walk.

The entire staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Kind of out of the way, it good shuttle service to the airport and train station. Excellent breakfast. Limited dinner menu, but food was good. Rooms were small, but totally adequate.

Shuttle shaft.
Checked in inquire about when the shuttle would take us to the airport the next morning. We were told it ran on the hour with no comment about needing a reservation. The next morning we went down to the desk to check out and we were told the shuttle was full and we would have to take a cab to the tune of $55.

Comfy bed, good breakfast. Bad restaurant.
I had some lovely sleep in Double Tree, the bed was huge and the room was airy and pleasant. Unfortunately neither mine nor my colleagues rooms were ready on arrival (after check in time) and we had to wait. One of us waited over an hour which is unacceptable. Reception staff didn’t seem to care. Check out was terrible as well; items were incorrectly named on the invoice. This may have been because it was night staff but it needs to be correct especially for business users. I only used the restaurant once because it was so salty it was inedible. If I wanted salt granulated all over my food and plate I would have added it myself. However breakfast was very good with a great mixture of hot and cold which catered for all tastes.
