The rooms are feel a little run down. The bathroom wall had patches and not painted to overall color. The room floors felt like they had not been swept or vacuumed. The closet furniture was dated and miss matched from overall furniture. Room was overall lackluster. At night, the hotel is loud as people are drinking and it gets an outside non guest crowd. I was solo female traveler, but i still felt safe Within the property. The staff was respectful and pleasant a major plus was free beach towels and lounge chairs at the beach!

Poorly cleaned room from previous guests. Extremely noisy on first floor. Could hear party going on for all night. Avoid first floor if you are a family.

Great place
Overall, Claremont was a great stay. However there were a few things that I would have wanted being a female. My room didn’t have a full view mirror like the others did and we didn’t have a mini fridge nor did we have a microwave. Most hotels have that which would have been nice. Definitely ask at the front desk if you care about having those things because some rooms did not! Overall, it was a nice place I was able to book last minute for rolling loud. There are other fees added when you check in. Resort fees and incidentals. Nothing super crazy. We paid around $300 but they told us we will get 200 back. There’s a nice restaurant and hookah lounge right in the lobby that is convenient. Definitely a popular spot for people passing by. Really pretty. When our Uber arrived to the hotel we thought our hotel was a club. Lol. Music was great and just good vibes overall. Beach was right across the street and had a walking path to get there which was very pretty. The mall was maybe a 3 minute walk. And clubs weren’t to far either. I would definitely stay again if needed to!
