Didn’t like the extremely noisy parties they have every weekend . Didn’t like that the air condition was erratic. Didn’t like that they advertise shuttle boat service that they never offered. Didn’t like that the mobile devices didn’t charge properly . Didn’t like the limited ala carte menue they offered. They room rates are exorbitant but they pale beside their sister hotel which is not much more rate wise.

We were only there 1 night. A cyclone had come through the area a few days before we arrived and had done considerable damage . Inspite of that our stay was excellant....staff great....food great.....breakfast buffet wonderful. Would recommed.

Probably the nicest hotel in Port Louis - if you can afford it! Great vibe in bar area and beds are extremely comfortable

Looking very tired
Rates alga be doubled since my visit last year. So certainly not value for money. Hotel is tired- rooms and particularly the bathrooms look 20 years old. At check in, was told to wait 5 minutes while they check the room. Surely the room was checked before. Even after the check somebodies old dirty sock was under the bed and a used plastic water bottle. Location is convenient for meetings in the city. Took ferry to waterfront in evening. When I returned it was not operating, so had to walk back along road in the dark. I have been staying at this hotel for last few years, but think I need to find somewhere a bit fresher and better value.

Nice relaxed hotel with a water taxi over to the shops ….this runs back and forth till 11pm ….breakfast is ok …coffee good ….limited fruit ….staff are friendly ..our room looked out over the harbour.

I loved it
Had an amazing time during my stay. Everything was comfortable and the people we very welcoming and kind. There was even a boat shuttle to cross the river. The food was amazing.

Bugs in the bed
As being repeatedly overcharged by staff, there was some sort of bug in my bedsheets - I think it could have been a bedbug as I have never known such an intensity of bites, the front of staff told me that it was in fact ants. There was no kind of apology at all for the inconvenience that caused and then significant impact that that number of bites had on the rest of my holiday/

The photos of the hotel do not match to reality. I was surprised when i didn't find a beach and pool was very small🙈 if you want yo go the beach you have to take taxi and go very far from this area. But i am very grateful to the staff for the late check out as my flight was very late. I am very grateful for all the help they gave me!

This was a very comfortable clean hotel with beautiful setting and surrounds. Great facilities and excellent staff who went beyond expectations during a difficult period of travel. Highly recommended for any type of traveller.

Very nice hotel, too bad my check in experience was so positive, nor was interaction with the concierge person.......negative first impression. Arrived early and had to wait for room which was expected. When I was checked in, no hotel information provided by reception, none in room either. Fortunately, there were many other helpful staff members available to assist. Location is very central to waterfront and complimentary water taxi provided. Morning breakfast very satisfying and plenty of variety. Despite the rough start, the stay was extremely pleasant.

Stayed at this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. Quite unbelievably they have a happy hour on a Friday evening that goes on till 1:30am. My room was overlooking the area. While I did receive a letter warning me about noise, it was absurd to imagine they’re running a hotel like this. Did not sleep a wink all night. Most upsetting

Nice hotel but expensive food and drink
I booked one of the apartments and it was excellent. 2 levels and very roomy with a nice view. Well equipped kitchen. he drinks were very expensive. Even during happy hour it was £4 for a beer with 50% off. Convenient boat takes you 20 metres across the harbour to save a long walk to the centre.I would certainly stay again
