Awful resort Not the same as description and pictures avitised at all!!!! Family run (2 ladies 2 young men) - not very helpful / couldnt really speak english or communicate Room- Windows didnt shut - not secure / open to insects, we got ate alive every night/ damp in bathroom / sheets and bed smelt musky / cockroaches Pool- was broke and moldy Was a horrible place We lived in the resort next door 90% of our time in bali Such a shame could be nice / needs a upgrade and refurbishment Everything from room down to the cups were dirty

Would not recommend Anom Beach Hotel at all
Very close to the beach but....on arrival at 10pm at night they had no record of my 14 days booking that had been fully paid for. I was put into a room for the 1st night and told that I would have to move the following morning. Then I was moved to 4 different rooms over the next 3 days as they had other guests booked into each of those rooms. The pool (that looks absolutely lovely on the photo) was not working on arrival and management kept telling me it was going to get fixed. 3 days later it still wasn't working and then the earth quake his Lombock and rattled all the building is this hotel as well. Roof tiles came flying down along with large bits of concrete from the roof of the two story accommodation that I am pleased I was not moved into. I decided to go inland on the 4th day of my holiday and asked for a refund of the rest of my booking as they clearly had not got me scheduled into their booking and the pool was still not working. I was told NO refund at all and to approach Expedia about this. I have travelled to Bali 9 times and visited almost every part of the country. This would be the worst place I have ever stayed at.

Paid for superior room with A/C given a standard room which looked like the crocked house - no a/c - 2 storey - if overweight couldn’t get upstairs. Absolutely disgusting - got moved to another room with a/c but standard room not superior as paid for no water in washing basin, no towels, had to chase up, no pool towels, only 6 pool lounges, steps to pool broken, musty pillows - so bad we aired each day and covered with our beach towels so we could sleep. Absolutely disgusting

I paid for the most expensive room, when I got there it was not available and the put me in their cheapest room. I questioned them and he lied and said our new room was more expensive and that Expedia and other websites got the pricing wrong. This was obviously a lie as the room was half the size of the one I had paid for.

A hotel that has its own sandy beach.
Okay let's be as honest as we can here because some of the reviews are somewhat indifferent to our stay the last couple of weeks so a review of two halves. We booked with Expedia and the photos on their website are very dated so don't be drawn in by the clean good looking place. The room we were offered and the next three were not fit for purpose and as for 'Superior' well they fell a long way short of good if that. However we took a free upgrade after complaining about the cleanliness of the rooms and were offered Bungalow 10 which we snapped up !! You get FREE air conditioning in all the rooms but with the bungalows you also get a ceiling fan inside the room (and outside on the porch only in Bungalow 10 though) So tip 1. Only take a bungalow avoid the rooms .. The food we ate breakfast there but that was all as there are far better restaurants around locally for example Amarta Restaurant (Next door) , Warung La Putu just at the top of the road or the best restaurant is LaRouge on the Candidasa road 10/10 for that place. The grounds were well maintained and kept clean the staff do work very hard and are very polite always wearing a smile. The hotel is situated just off the beaten track with an excellent sea view and great little beach area and the water is awesome so clean and clear. So would we go back ... well we have booked Bali for next year but are going next door to the Amarta so that still gives you the traditional area of Bali , access to the same beach area just mo

Lovely quaint hotel
We stayed at Anom as we wanted budget prices and the beach looked lovely..we werent disappointed as the water was beautiful and clear and the veiw frpm the Bar were fabulous. Our rooms were comfortable and clean but the room with no airconditioning was very hot so one of our guests changed to an airconditioned room which was lovely..

Value beach resort
There seemed to be common disconnect between Booking.com and hotel, both when we arrived and when we tried to extend. But the hotel value was good and the restaurant is recommended for look, scenery and value menu, even if you are not staying here. And the staff are very friendly.

Booked this hotel 6 weeks before travel and paid via Expedia. Planned stay was 4 nights, 2 Deluxe Bungalows. Upon arrival it become clear that other people been turned away despite they had a booking. It was obvious that Renovation / Construction work was going on. Pool was closed for repairs. After 2 hours waiting for check in, the hotel manager started his routine: "booking was in Denpasar, so sorry but hotel is full, no rooms available." They offered to put us into another "family hotel" closer to town Ida Beach is similar hotel, but we would have preferred cancelling and going somewhere else. It is quite disappointing that our holiday experience had to end with such a negative experience. .

Lovely Balinese hotel on the beach front
We loved staying at the Anom. It is situated among beautiful gardens right on the waterfront with a wonderful open air dining area. The rooms are ok, if a bit old & the bathrooms could be cleaner, but we would definitely stay there again. Good value for the price

Had a comfortable short 7 hour stay while waiting for our flight out. Chose the basic room for cheap (355,000 rupiah) but upgraded to same room with AC for (400,000 rupiah). AC and ceiling fan were inefficient but kept us comfortable enough. Facilities are in need of some up keep, but the pool, beach & restaurant were great! The restaurant menu (food & drink) selections are quite extensive and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly & helpful. Only other downside is that WIFI did not work anywhere except in reception area despite being included as a room amenity.

The Best Hotel in Candi Dasa
This was possibly the best, a lovely place to stay in Bali. I spent 7 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The Anom Hotel was clean and tidy and provided everything needed. The staff was happy and shared their knowledge and insights into life on the island and gave some helpful ideas on what to see and do. The Hotel is located about 2hrs from Denpasar and on the beach at Candi Dasa so snorkelling/swimming is very close by. The day was started with an amazing breakfast, provided by happy staff. The bonus of an Aus$7 massage was key to a “RELAXING” holiday.

Checked in after I booked a standard room for a set price and had already paid and confirmed online. When I arrived hotel told me they didn't have any more standard rooms and I would have to pay extra for an upgrade. I stood my ground and did not pay. I wasnt going to get sucked into this scam. If you need a taxi just walk outside the hotel and look for a driver. They all sit and wait there looking for customers. The hotel will charge extra if they are age for you. The food at restaurant was good & reasonable prices.Had mahi mahi and chicken satay. Beach at hotel is small. Go to beach at nicer resort next door. Or take a taxi 25 mins to White sand beach and spend the day there. Taxi will wait for you for return to hotel. It's absolutely beautiful

Anom Beach hotel was lovely. The beach was gorgeous. The food was great for the price. The staff were exceptional. The snorkelling trip is cheaper than most. They can hire scooters for you and organise a massage. Tirta Ganga water palace, Tenganan Aga Village and Goa Lawah bat temple are all within easy scooter distance.

Basic hotel for budget travellers
The place is old and the rooms need attention. The quality of the bedding is poor. The damp smell is quite strong in the room and in the cupboards. We had to keep AC and fan working all the time in order to get fresh air but eventually it was OK. The service was fine but we were not much impressed with it at the restaurant where we had one meal and basic breakfasts. The location is instead quite good for the beach (for sure the best in the area).

As previous visit (2 years ago) everything is brilliant. Still the best beach in this area. Very kind personal, smiling every time you catch the sight. The hotel is the same age as me, but you never notice that, and it definetly has the charm. Bungalows are hidden in wonderful plants, so you feel yourself somewhere in jungle. Nice breakfast (I'm in love with "mie goreng"). Hot water will make you to wait it a bit, but it still exist. Beautiful dusk from the pier, so that people from nearby comes to take a photo. So it still the favorite hotel in Candidasa. Hope to return 3rd time. Good luck!

Вообщем все понравилось, чисто, уютно, цена качество отлично, хорошие завтраки 4 видов, вполне сытно, фреши, чай кофе включено. Есть свой пляж, можно поснорклить.Чндидаса далековато, мы брали байк, ездили на самые красивые пляжи Бали Вайт сенд бич, Блю лагун- смотрели рыбок, недалеко храм Лямпуянг, дворец Титра Ганга. В целом цены на еду в Кандидасе намного приятнее, чем например в Нуса дуа, откуда мы переехали, да и пляжи здесь поживописнее.

The first thing was that they couldn't find our booking and we had to wait for quite a while. The staff had very minimum level of English. This caused a lot of problems during our stay which was luckily only one night. When we got to our bungalow it was damp and hot. There was a ceiling fan which worked but wasn't really that helpful.. The other fan on the floor was all rusty and so we preferred not to use it. The bathroom was also damp and the shower was covered in white (don't know the word for it). When going to bed (around 10pm) we noticed bugs in my pillow and so I went to change it. After waiting for a while in the reception (and ringing the bell) a person came and changed the pillow but he was quite rude. The next morning we had to leave at 7:30am so it was arranged that we could get breakfast at 6:30 instead of 7am. This was a nice gesture but in reality it took about 40minutes until we got our food. During the wait, I asked the staff if I could check-out of the hotel while we were waiting for the food as we were already running late. They hardly understood what I meant and when they did, they were, once again, very rude. The checking-out took sometime but it was okay. The food was delicious. If you want something cheap and don't mind the previously mentioned, this could work out for you. For us, it didn't, unfortunately.

Hotel z pozoru wygląda dobrze. Ładna restauracja przy plaży. Jedzenie w restauracji zimne i podane z łaską. Bungalow delux koszmarny. Domek z poprzedniej epoki, brudny, z dziurawym dachem, mnóstwo komarów w środku. Podana powierzchnia (35 m2) to powierzchnia domku razem z tarasem przed domkiem. Nie polecamy!

Pour 30€ les deux nuits j'ai trouvé cet hôtel très bien. Accueil très agréable, chambre confortable et propre, accès à la piscine (de bonne taille) et petit déjeuner complet. On a loué des scooters à 70000IDR pour la journée, c'est nécessaire pour découvrir les alentours. Le wifi marchait bien, et j'ai testé les massages à 70000IDR proposés soit en bord de mer, soit au bord de la piscine. Top!

Traditionelle balinesische Architektur
Für mich als Architektin war beeindrucken in einem solch traditionell gefertigten Haus zu wohnen. Das weit uberstehende Rieddach, die schraubenfreie offene Dachkonstruktion, die wunderschöne Eingangstür, der Balkon im 1. Stock mit freiem Meerblick und das traditionell hergestellte Bambusbett mit Mosquitonetz waren uberragend. Die 2 Ventilatoren haben für Kühlung gesorgt. Ein schöner Platz zum Entspannen. Allerdings mit 2 h Fahrzeit zum Flughafen doch recht weit entfernt.

Var ett mysigt lugnt hotell, ren och trevlig pool. Frukost ingick och var bra standard. Inte något speciellt men indonesiska frukosten var god. Té serverades på verandan varje morgon, även fast rummen inte var de mysigaste, hade ödlor och djur i rummet och hade behövt lite upplyft, så var det stora och man fick vad man betalade för. Fanns inte alls mycket att göra runtomkring alls! Så ifall du vill ha att göra och inte bara hänga vid poolen, så skulle jag rekommendera att åka någon annanstans än Candi dasa.

Terrible service ruined our stay
Worst Check-in ever. We were the only people checking in, but it took 80 minutes. The manager greeted us by commanding us to stand at the other counter. We did as he demanded and presented our booking with hotels.com. He quickly seemed frustrated and confused - barked at his staff and didn't give us any information whatsoever. Just sit down he said. Half an hour passed. Just sit down he said every time we asked what was going on. He kept asking our booking with Expedia and every time we reminded him that we had booked - and payed - with hotels.com They had obviously lost our booking, but he kept insisting that they had just misplaced our key. Meanwhile the manager was calling around obviously trying to ship us off to a different hotel. He told us this after an hour. 20min later we were able to get a room after all. We were nervous the whole time in case we would have to go looking for a new hotel. When we got to the room we were met by a very damp smell(No vent in the bathroom). Dirty bed covers that they had tried to cover up with liquid paper. And then there were red worms crawling out of the drain in the bathroom, which was a bit unpleasant. Allround: Terrible service. Positives: Nice staff in the restaurant (Budi was a gentleman) and fair prices there. The view is also lovely from there.

少し古いのですがコテージ型のホテル
少し古いタイプのコテージ型のホテルです。自分は２階建ての１階はシャワー＆トイレ、 ２階は寝室とバルコニーです。 壁は藁葺ですので密接に隣に建てられているコテージの大きな声は聞こえますが それ以外は思った以上の厚みがあって湿度や気温は調整されています。 天井にファンは回っていますが、エアコンはありません。 テレビも有りません。 ちゃんと管理されているので虫は皆無でした。（一応防虫剤は用意していきました） 隣には共有プールがあって、とても管理された綺麗なプールです。 ホテルの目の前に綺麗なビーチが有ります。 専用ではないのですが、地元の方も遊びに来るぐらい居ここちの良いビーチで、いつまでも その場で遊んでいたり、佇むことが出来る場所です。 日光浴できるベッド（ホテル専用）もあるのでとても便利です。 Wi-Fiは一応有りますが弱いです。携帯電話の電波も弱いです。（圏外率が多い） でも適度に文明と隔離した場所で何もかも忘れられる場所であることは間違いないです。

Einfaches Hotel mit Spitzenklasseservice
Das Anom Beach Hotel haben wir für 2 Wochen gebucht. Neben einem Restaurant findet man noch einen Pool und eine kleine Rezeption. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet. Sie haben keine Fernseher und kein Telefon. Es gibt Zimmer in Apartmentstil, im Bungalow (mit Klimaanlage) und in ehemaligen Reisspeichern. Insgesamt kann das Hotel ca. 60 Personen beherbergen. Von vielen Gästen wird dieses Hotel wohl eher als Zwischnestopp für Rundreisen gebucht. Wir waren in "Spitzenzeiten" insgesamt ca. 14 Gäste und zwischendurch aber auch nur 7 oder 8. Das Restaurant, der Pool und die Liegen zum Meer hin waren also fast immer leer. Ruhe pur. Neben der Anlage gibt es eine kleinen Zugang zum Meer, wo man bei Ebbe auch einen kleinen "Strand" findet. Im Meer befinden sich noch einige wenige intakte Korallen mit entsprechend vielen Fischen. Die Strömung ist jedoch selbst in dem zum Schwimmen freigegebenen Bereich nicht zu unterschätzen. Kinder würde ich nur in den ersten 4m vom Ufer bei ruhiger See einigermaßen beruhigt schwimmen lassen. Die Karte im Restaurant ist gut gemischt. Zusätzlich gibt es meist noch eine Tageskarte. Das Essen war immer gut. Die Portionen hätten manchmal etwas größer sein können. Bei den günstigen Preisen kann man aber auch einfach eine doppelte Portion bestellen. Der Service im ganze Hotel war 5* Kategorie. Sehr aufmerksames und stets hilfsbereites Personal. Davon kann sich man Hotel und Restaurant in Deutschland eine Scheibe abschneiden!
