Horrible customer service Keycard didn’t work several times throughout the day & it was never fixed as promised. Food at the Breakfast buffet was cold - baked beans, sausages Simple club sandwich took 45 mins. Requested for a scale to weigh suitcase but it only arrived as I was leaving the hotel which was 3 hours after my request. Requested for someone to assist me with my suitcase at the time of check out but no one turned up.

Customer service was beyond poor. The key to the room did not work, went to reception 3 times to sort out the issue but they could not help, I had to leave the sliding unlocked to get out of the room. I was told to call “0” for room service but tried for 10 mins and not answer, I had to walk over to order my food Breakfast buffet had iced cold bake beans & sausages Requested a scale at 1.30pm to weigh my suitcases but someone came around at 4pm as I was checking out. Requested for someone to take my suitcases to reception before checking out but no one turned up and I had to drag the suitcases Myself as the taxi was waiting. Great resort but the worse customer service

Preskil is set on its own island surrounded by turquoise seas. The hotel is well appointed and friendly. The food in its top restaurant 1810 is fabulous and its setting looking out onto the sea is awesome.

Should be 5 star
It was like a 5 star hotel Lovely room with great views and an enormous bed. Wonderful setting and staff were very friendly and helpful. Gluten free food was hard to identify and would benefit from better labelling. Entertainment was average.resort would benefit from a mini golf circuit.another recommendation would be a small library Departure lounge shower was cold and very little soap. Overall it was a great holiday in a beautiful location .

Nice property but very expensive meal plan Breakfast ok but cost of dinners on plan exorbitant and when they quote you think it’s in Mauritius currency so cheap but it’s actually in euros .Other than that nice pool and beach and bus stops out the front .

Like- The location of the hotel is excellent. Very beautiful surroundings and very near to the airport. Dislike- We could write pages on this but to sum up "it's a very beautiful hotel but very poorly managed. The people responsible for the administration of the hotel are confused and lacks coordination between them".

there was a very bad smell of fish due to coral spawning. Hotel manager informed us that it is all around mauritius. in actual fact it was just the Preskil hotel that had this unbearable smell. we stayed there for one night only.

L'hotel Preskil Island est situé dans l'une des plus belle zone de l'Ile Maurice, face à l'Ile aux Aigrettes et proche de la magnifique plage de pointe d'Esny. tout y est prévu afin que les clients puissent profiter de la très grande piscine et de la plage. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. Néanmoins, plusieurs bémols; tout d'abord, le petit déjeuner bien que complet n'est pas de très bonne qualité... les machines automatiques à café sont souvent en panne (4 sur 5 un matin) et cela devient une véritable cantine à l'heure de pointe. Les douches sont à peine tièdes, et les chambres mal insonorisées.... les restaurants sont chers et d'une qualité moins bonne qu'un grand nombre de table aux alentours. La plage est magnifique mais il y a énormément de courant, et beaucoup de rochers en pierre volcanique peuvent vous blesser si vous arrivez à nager... le vrai point fort réside dans le personnel d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle...

Best in Class
For the south of Mauritius and at a convenient distance to the airport, I really wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I have tried some other hotels and this stands out as the best. I’ve stayed here several times and this time Linda and Sorazen from the reception were stars in ironing out a minor issue in the room, a defective air conditioner (as some times these things happen) and the way they handled this minor situation thoroughly exceeded my expectations. Preskil enjoys a beautiful location and share the same waters as the Blue Bay Marine Park. But as in every hotel the staff stand out as the greatest asset. I look forward to returning .

Beautiful resort but very poor service at times. I know a lot is due to covid but in many industries too many staff were let go. The hotel is beautiful but needs more staff and maybe a little more guest pampering. Had a few issues which I thought were never really addressed even though I spoke to Managers.

Nice place and location, but room for improvement
We spent 2 days at the Preskil resort, while we were initially impressed with the design of the room we soon found that there was mold in a few places of the room. My wife is allergic to mold so we requested them to move us to another room, they moved us to another room however once we settled in we realized that while the room was clean the bed was not the most comfortable. This was disappointing as this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and the bed was barely acceptable.

Love this place!! We stayed here for my birthday and had the best time ever! Beautiful property in a paradise setting. Excellent service--you can text the front desk for anything you need, restaurant reservations, ice, problems, requests, etc. The seafood restaurant and bar were really nice. I picked this property for the beauty, location close to airport and the included unlimited water sports: kayak, SUP, catamaran, laser boat, padalo. (maybe more I'm forgetting, we had our own snorkel gear) Very well worth it. Everyone was professional and pleasant. We didn't want to leave....

Location Location Location!
Location, location, location, this hotel is all about it. 15 mins from the airport and you are in a tranquil paradise with beautifully laid out rooms, plenty of space and a fabulous view. The rooms are spacious and perfectly decorated, spa services very relaxing, plenty of water sports available all day. Some service could be a little improved, for example check-in seemed to take a while, especially after a long flight but all in all a great spot to wind down.

Nice, modern (newly upgraded/remodeled) resort. Nice spa with good selection of treatments, also steam room, sauna available. Three restaurants in the resort area, nice food selection, menues are updated every day. Long beach area with access to different water sports. I had a very nice stay, the resort is very nice - you will have a good time.

A breath away from perfection
The facilities, staff, water activities and overall customer service was fantastic. The only thing that lets them down is the food. The buffet breakfast and dinner selection was good but tasted average. The Mediterranean themed resturant was over priced and could be described as poor.

It is in a great location, well kept and good facilities for kids and families. But, the attention to detail and guest consideration is very lacking. I booked a King bed room and was given a room with 2 single beds pushed together, however, they didn't even make the effort to make the 2 beds into a king bed, it was literally 2 single beds, still made as single beds pushed together. I was in town for work and needed to sleep during the day as my work was at night. They decided to do construction work right above my room, after making a complaint about the noise, it stopped for all of 20min before starting again. It was so bad I needed ear protection and I ended up having to leave the building and sit at the hotel reception until it finished at 4pm. It was so loud it kept my business colleague awake as well who was in the building next door. I understand the need for construction but there was no notice or information about it before hand at all. With such a big resort being put directly underneath extremely loud construction is unacceptable. Coffee orders were also unacceptable, I ordered a capachino and ended up with an americano (no milk) and my colleague ordered a Caffè macchiato and got a weak latte (we were the only patrons at the time and ordered 10min apart so no mix up was possible). If management were better this place could be so much better. Overall not recommended.

Fantastico Resort. Camere meravigliose, arredate con estremo gusto, molto ampie e pulite e assolutamente confortevoli. Personale attento, molto cordiale e disponibile, passa ogni giorno in camera a chiedere se tutto va bene o se serve qualcosa. Un ringraziamento particolare a Deepak Nyeek che parlando molto bene la lingua italiana si rende disponibile a offrire la propria assistenza per ogni eventuale necessità. Spiaggia ampia e ottimamente attrezzata. La spiaggia si estende su tutto il resort per cui si trovano sempre posti disponibili sia nelle zone più frequentate che in quelle più tranquille. Ottimamente dotato il centro nautico ed il diving, con personale e istruttori preparati e attrezzature curate. Il mare molto bello e con una piccola barriera corallina a pochi metri dalla riva. Unico neo, la fascia di mare in sicurezza delimitata da boe è troppo ristretta per cui se si vuole nuotare o fare snorkeling è necessario oltrepassare le boe adottando un minimo di cautela considerato che possono passare delle barche. Da segnalare che il livello della ristorazione non è però all’altezza dell’eccellenza del Resort. I piatti al buffet sono troppo ripetitivi e intrugliati, spesso vengono riproposti, con intingoli vari, avanzi del giorno precedente. Il servizio dei camerieri ai tavoli è molto lento e si finisce per ricevere le bevande in fase avanzata del pasto. Buoni i cocktails. Servizio taxi ottimo con area di sosta proprio di fronte alla struttura. Complessivamente un Resort

Wir hatten eine Junior-Suite mit Blick auf das Meer!!!! Würden wir immer wieder buchen! Check in noch vor der angegebenen Zeit möglich! Des Weiteren wurde unser Flug um 15 h nach hinten verschoben, so dass man uns sofort mit einem späteren Check Out ( allerdings gegen Gebühr) sehr geholfen hat!!!! Das war ganz toll! Essen in der Poolbar war hervorragend und es sind auch Getränke in der Minibar vorhanden ( allerdings auch Gebühr) , das ist aber i.o. Fazit: Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!!!!
