Very happy and would return without a 2nd thought!
"Enjoyed my short stay at the Belmont. I do try and avoid the usual business hotels, they are extremely boring and another offering of a tower burger is never appealing. The Belmont was amazing value and I was continually thinking that surely at the price point it was remarkable....hats off.
What you do get with this type of establishment is very much down to what you're allocated at time of booking, this time, a lovely room with a bathroom attached just as large. It wasn't all square walls but it was well turned out.
The dining area was a treat and the service was slower for some people wanted, but they were obviously cooking each plate from scratch, and the result were clearly worth the wait. All in all, well done on a great job."

Great Hotel and staff.
"We stayed at the Moxy because we were going to a concert. We traveled there by train and it was really easy to find. It was only a short walk from the train station, past the NEC and across the road. Inside are signs on where to find reception. 3pm check in. Everyone was so friendly and made everything very simple, giving a keycard with a card to redeem for a complimentary cocktail each. First impressions were good. Modern, with a funky, quirky side.
The room was 2nd floor with a view of the lake, fountain, Resorts World and Resorts World Arena. They were both a short walk away. The Room was a good size with a comfortable bed, tv, tea making facilities and a hairdryer. The bathroom was small but ample with a lovely hot shower. We were supplied with towels and toiletries. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The room was really hot but there’s instructions for the thermostat and a separate heater/ fan tower.
After the concert we went to the bar for some of their reasonably priced cocktails. It was quite busy but it was a nice, friendly atmosphere. I think some sort of food is on offer until 2am?
Breakfast was a choice of continental or cooked with gluten free choice on offer too. We opted for the cooked. It was delicious and the staff were always topping up the food station. Lots of choice to help yourself to, along with hot and cold drink choices.
We loved our stay at the Moxy and we would love to stay there again. Highly recommend it! "

Great hotel with a few niggles
"Great hotel, handy for the NEC in my case.
The room was a good size and nicely decorated, great bed and pillows. Bathroom was a bit dated and the shower head mounted far too low. I had to assume a stooping position to get under (I’m 5’10”)
Dinner was decent but prices are optimistic to say the least. £29 for a lamb burger .. what!! Basic food in basic surroundings and average service. The prices do not reflect this.
Breakfast was fantastic with an impressive array of choices.

"This hotel is super convenient to Birmingham airport: just walk across the street. It was great to be able to stagger over after a very long trip and be lying down within 10 minutes.
Everything was clean and worked, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. Modern, accessible outlets were very welcome. Breakfast was ample and varied. "

"Spent one night here for a show at The Curve. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff were very pleasant. Ate both breakfast and an evening meal, and whilst it was just regular food (not high end dining) it was very reasonable and plentiful. The car park is close by but somehow we did struggle to find it and ended up ringing for instructions!
All in all a good stay and would return if back in Leicester for any purpose."
