Stay next door at the Taj.
Decent hotel, nothing more, for the price. It is not really a 5 star hotel, but good at 4 stars. Not sure who gives the awards stars. Heat did not work in the room (air con did, but it was cold), the mini-refrigerator did not work. The same day laundry was ready at the end of the next day, so glad we didn't have to check out that day. A lot of the food was too salty, not as bad as India overall, but not 5 star quality at all.

Great modern property with fabulous views!
Great modern property with fabulous views of the Gomti River and Ambedkar park. The rooms were super clean and updated and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Smart, tidy property in a superb location. Staff are very attentive. Rooms are clean, the restaurant on the top floor has a good dejection of food. Papu Singh deserves a mention, a very charismatic helpful young man. Overall a very good experience and nothing negative.

wonderful property and beautifully located. However the checkin was very time taking and delayed. inspite of being a member of the Marriot payment was taken upfront at the time of checkin which was totally un called for

The property is located in an interesting part of the city but close to government offices and other sites. It’s clean and modern with very good staff and service. Only issue is that the room doors close automatically and basically slam shut very loudly which is disturbing. Many guests don’t seem to care about annoying others. Perhaps the hotel can do something about that.

Disappointing Stay
The hotel served is very bad quality food in their buffet dinner which was priced at 3600+ for two people. The dinner was cold , most dishes were empty and no one to attend personally to advise on availability of food. Disappointed thoroughly. The pool lounge was flithy in the morning. Worst experience.

I had a two day stay and found the location very close to all famous places. Room size and quality was exceptionally good for the value. All modern features were available. Receptionist Marya was so good in her job. Will love to come back.

Highly recommended property in heart of Lucknow
It was an awesome stay in modern Renaissance Hotel. Excellent location and friendly staff. Specially Front Office Manager Syed Faizan Naqvi is very cooperative in accommodating guest needs and requirements. Appreciate his assistance in making my stay pleasurable. Room is tidy and 5/5 rank. Housekeeping staff was eager to assist. While taking breakfast I forgot my spects and Malayja gave it back to me. Breakfast selection was wide variety with western and Indian cuisines. All together highly recommend this property to stay.

Poorly managed hotel
Arrived at 11.30. Swiftly brought to my room. I have booked a non-smoking room, by the person next to my room is smoking and shouting. I complained to the front office and they send a flunky to my room, who has no idea hwo to handle this issue, ie, of the man smoking and shouting. Not staying again here. This is a glorified 5 Star hotel, which has no idea how to look after its regular guests. I rather go back to the Taj once again. Bad choice.
