We had a very very very small double room. Bed against wall on one side hardly any spare room at all. Breakfast very ordinary hard fried eggs and nasty bread. Muesli was very sweet altogether not worth the cost
I love the location .. Felt very safe here. even at dark.. Love that it's family owned

When booking requested a fridge to store medication which was completely ignored. Had to pay expensive additional fee to change room to acquire the fridge. Hotel never bothered to read notes with fridge request.

Hotel handy for a lot of theatres and sightseeing.
Rooms very small, even the 'Superior Double' we booked.
We were told it would be a 'quiet room' yet it was right next to building work on the hotel itself (scaffolding right next to our window) and the building opposite.
There always seemed to be one of the lifts out of action, causing long waits at times.
Service a bit slow in both the bars. Waited 10 minutes to be served in 'The Gin Palace' before trying Haxells bar, where we waited 15 minutes for the bill before having to try and convince staff at the bar that we wanted to pay them there.
Overall, the stay was okay, but not worth the premium price we paid.

We stay at this hotel twice a year when we come to London. It’s is a great clean spacious hotel with excellent location in Coventry Garden every one courteous and always receive my vip upgrade with not hassle. Love this hotel. Highly recommend

I like the location of Strand Palace. I can walk to Covent Garden for dinning and shopping and the Tube station is so convenient. Room is very clean. I will book this hotel again when I came to London next time.

My husband and I were there for part of our anniversary trip and enjoyex such a lovely visit and stay. We were a little disappointed in the food at the restaurant, it was not as upscale as the rest of the hotel.

The water in the sink didn't drain, so I had to leave the stopper open all the time, and there was a bad smell when the bathroom door was open. So you must keep the bathroom door closed. It is a very small room, so you should only think about going in and sleeping. The window is very small and you can only see the building in front. The cleaning service was good and it was close to the subway and Covent Garden. The hotel provided a £50 restaurant food credit on the first day. We prepare 4 Keurig coffees and 2 cookies every day. Breakfast costs 18 pounds separately. It is a very convenient and friendly hotel.

This property is THE BEST stay in London. It's close to all the transportation options, has exquisite dining on site & near by, the staff is extremely helpful & polite, and the room was clean, well cared for, & well stocked with pillows, linens, soaps & lotion.
