Staff friendly, room clean, bed comfortable, bathroom toasty warm. Room (club double) was really narrow so struggled to squeeze through the narrow space between the foot of the bed and the wall. Bathroom floor heated, uncomfortably hot.

Booked a double deluxe room but the room given was tiny with any space to walk with the amount of wood work done and furniture. Work chair was squeezed between cupboard and table without any space to allow sitting access. Bathroom was smallest I have ever seen. Overall, hotel is good and clean but room size is not at all suitable and bed was smaller than queen size for a double deluxe room. No restaurant or food options inside hotel or in surroundings area. Have to rely on take away or delivery only. Not recommended unless you are travelling alone and plan to return to room for night sleep.

1. I don't expect to pay a deposit in a hotel that classes itself as 5 star - that is unheard of... 2. Due to 1. above I checked out having forgotten about my deposit. 3. It's just over a month later and no-one at the hotel has tried to contact me to return the deposit - it appears throughly dishonest at worst and inept at best. I wonder how many others have forgotten their deposits!!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We would book to stay again as it was exactly where we needed to be location wise and was out of the louder busier areas. The bed was really comfortable! We had a brilliant nights sleep. Just a few minor things that we noticed. The curtain in our room was faulty, and looked like it had been pulled and ripped. The charging points (USB) was broken. We were woken at 7:50am by what sounded like someone vacuuming in the hallway which was a little annoying but we did manage to go back to sleep for an hour after. Maybe that shouldn’t be done so early in the morning ? Apart from that we had a fantastic nights sleep. It’s very quiet and you feel very safe. It would also of been ideal if the receptionist could of gave us more information, as we didn’t know check out time we had to look it up ourselves, didn’t give us an option to pay for breakfast so we ended up going elsewhere for that. Overall, nice stay and wouldn’t rule this hotel out if we were visiting London again

A lovely weekend away
We had a lovely stay here. The staff were friendly and provided great service, nothing was too much to ask! There were free cakes and apples in reception and drinks in the room were replenished daily. There was also a fridge in the room which was really convenient. The hotel was in a great location, really close to Paddington station and some other tube stations, so really easy to get around. Kensington gardens nearby are definitely worth a visit! The concierge at checkout was really helpful and carried our suitcases out of the hotel for us! A lovely weekend stay, we would definitely return in the future!

Nice hotel conveniently situated for our needs. Clean room and comfortable bed, helpful staff. I stayed in room 101, i struggled to get the room warm, even after turning the aircon off. The window was facing the road and didn't have any voile curtains which meant mostly having to keep the curtains closed. We arrived back at around 9.30pm and would have liked a night cap but the bar was closed.

Basic rooms were really tiny and didn’t look like the pictures which made them look a lot bigger. Having dark brown furniture made it feel even smaller. Barely any room to move around and the cupboards only just had room to open to the side of the bed, Fridge was hard to access. Not even room to leave luggage around the room. Bathroom was barely 2 square metres and had to squeeze through shower doors despite not being overweight. Having two people in the room was almost an impossibility. Would only recommend to book these if you just need to sleep and nothing else. Having said to sleep, the noise of the creaking floorboards from the rooms above kept us awake constantly and also noise from corridors which are barely wide enough for two people to walk down. Great location and staff were friendly enough, just wasn’t a comfortable stay.

Lovely room in the basement which meant it was quiet from street noise although could hear the distant rumble of the tube. Bathroom was great except there was no bath plug and didn’t notice until the evening when hotel maintenance was closed.

This property has the potential to be sooo good despite the rooms being very small and having to clamber over your suitcases - this could all be forgiven if only the females on reception could smile and be more helpful. The true test is when asked the question "would you stay here again" and the answer would be "NO". Rooms are tired, the staff are not really "service driven" and last but not least recommending their own "rip off taxi man" at a price which was unreal, the vehicle stunk of cigarettes and the driver was obnoxious. Just get an ordinary taxi, don't ask the staff for assistance other than ordering a proper taxi.

Bathroom smaller than airplane - economy class!
OMG that bathroom was smaller than an airplane! I wish I had taken a photo! I have never seen anything like this. And it was $273! Plus it had a terrible perfume pumping in. The carpet in hallway and room were filthy. We felt like we were in a dungeon on the ground floor. I am sure we had that room because we booked on hotels.com. We were assured we would get a better room next time. Take a pass - oh and Hotels.com is horrible for overseas travel. Take another pass.

I was expecting more from the hotel for the money i paid. Room and especially the washroom was ill designed. Room was so small, Washroom door was opening outside in front of main door, comode was so near to the wall. Then the sink was blocked and i complained about it, a person came to fix it, and next day it was the same issue. Lighting was also flickering, and when i complained i was told to insert the key again and it will stop. Certainly, it was not the issue. And lastly, some hospitality staff, not all, didnt know how to keep a happy face on to greet the guests.
