8/10 - I contacted them three times, using three different methods, before our stay, and they never once responded.
Contacted them using the " contact us" form on their website, I emailed them, and I contacted them through Expedia where we booked our stay. None of these advanced contacts were answered. One point deducted for that.
Moving beyond that, we really had a lovely stay. It's a great location near Blackfriars And all the South Bank has to offer. I stayed here once when it was the Mondrian, and I'd say the staff this time around was a notch above that stay.
This is right next to the Hilton Bankside, And while they are both great hotels, I prefer the Hilton and will likely stay there moving forward. The bankside offered us drinks on arrival, including a nice hot whiskey which was welcome on a cold day. No such offering from sea containers. The bankside also had daily snacks in our room from local businesses... A lovely touch. No such offering from sea containers. And finally the bank side rushed to our vehicle to grab our luggage before walking in, no such service from sea containers.
Rooms are bigger and fresher at bankside. And I prefer their hair and skin products the bankside uses over the Malin and Goetz used at Sea Containers. Bank side also has access to steel and sparkling water in all of their hallways, self-serve. Sea containers Left bottles of still water in the room, but no access to sparkling.
Between the two, Bankside wins.
