As a seasoned traveler who frequents high-end hotels and resorts, I must say my recent experience at the Kimpton in London was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the level of attention and customer service exceeded all expectations. As a solo traveler, safety and comfort are paramount, and the staff at went above and beyond to ensure I felt both secure and pampered throughout my stay. One particular highlight was the unexpected upgrade to a suite, which made me feel like royalty in the heart of London. The spacious accommodations and luxurious amenities truly enhanced my experience, making it difficult to leave at the end of my trip. I can confidently say that I would return to London just to stay at Kimpton London again. The impeccable service, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere made it a standout among my travels. If you're looking for a truly memorable and indulgent stay, look no further than Kimpton Fritz in London.

The staff was great and very helpful at all times. Also liked the hotel interior - very nice lounges and the cafe is very convenient. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the rooms more friendly for business travelers. For example there was no desk in my room. Also, surprised by how few t.v. stations there were to choose from. All in all, a very good hotel and love the service that Kimpton provides.

I have stayed here around 26 times. All good except for the breakfast service. Long queue into the hallway like a 3 star all inclusive in the costas in Spain. Definitely not a good look for IHG 5 star property. Pleass sort this out. Otherwise - still my fav hotel in london

The best hotel experience of my life. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. Kajol made my whole trip with her kindness. The room was stunning and the entire hotel was a joy. Exceptional food and close location to the tube. I won’t stay anywhere else in London.

Beautiful exterior and lobby but eh experience
We were disappointed that the beautiful exterior did not match the service nor the stay internally. - upon checkin, we were told we would “have priority” for housekeeping and they would call us. At 3pm, we checked in, and our keys were obviously ready but no one had called after a long unshowered day of trying to stay awake waiting. - the temperature in the room was either freezing or melting, no in between - pillows were TERRIBLE and the bed sheets were made without a sheet and short sheeted so you could never be fully covered - the bar “the Fitz” was inaccessible to hotel guests without a reservation. Fine, but upon check-in it would have been nice for someone to say they have private events in every room and could they help us make an rsvp for our own hotel! It was as to come back to a beautiful lobby and be told they could not accommodate any guests for a night cap. Just a very unfriendly vibe like you were an outsider and not a guest the whole time.

This is our fifth time of staying at the Kimpton and it is always a wonderful experience! The location of this hotel is second to none and the staff are always so accommodating! Highly recommend, if I could give it six stars I would !

We booked the property, with our family, needing 2 rooms close to each other as we had our children sharing a room alone. We asked for adjacent or interconnecting rooms on the booking, we called ahead twice to remind the hotel. We arrived and the rooms were nowhere near each other and they'd downgraded one of the rooms in an attempt just to get the rooms on the same floor. We asked to see the rooms and they were VERY disappointing. Small, dingy and both had unpleasant odours. Sophie the front of house manager couldn't provide any solutions. We didn't even check in. We walked out and booked the Rosewood in Holborn instead which is a FAR better hotel and thoroughly recommended as they were very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. AVOID.

Across from a lovely park, 2 blocks from British Museum, 4 blocks from Oxford Street shopping, next to a Tube stop, and a first class, gorgeous hotel. Make sure to include the breakfast - the buffet is fabulous. You will eat well, skip lunch and save money.

The historic beauty of this hotel is outstanding. It is immaculately maintained from what i could see and is worth a visit to experience victorian opulence. My room was on the small size but perfect for 1 to 2 travelers. The dinner at Galvins restaurant was memorable. I had delicious, perfectly cooked lamb with spiced eggplant, ocean-fresh oysters, and lovely candies to finish. I loved the story about "lucky george", the bronze dragon statue located on floor 2 -- the one that "lived to tell" (the twin bronze statue on the titanic was not as lucky). I found the hotel conveniently located and could easily walk to major attractions. I loved my stay and highly recommend staying here.

Hotel was STUNNING and the staff was consistently friendly and attentive. I was visiting London for the first time and this provided an excellent home base for exploring with easy access to the tube. Great breakfast at the cafe.

The property lobby and staff were wonderful until we had a problem with the bed as the mattress cover was very lumpy so we went to remove it and found there was NO MATTRESS....just a box spring. We asked the staff about it and responded with quote you can speak to the manager which was not classy at all as we picked the Kimpton Fitzroy to have an incredible experience and was ruined as we both could not sleep

The room was very small and terrible view!( premium room??) We asked them to change it but they couldn’t. Pillow covers were clean but pillows itself had a bad odor! What an amazing building but I wouldn’t stay there again because of the poor management!
