I choose a business hotel based upon three criteria: 1) convenient location, 2) great bed, and 3) good shower. The Hilton Garden Inn at Heathrow Terminal 2 scores above average on #1 and #2 and absolutely fails on #3. The result is pretty much an average rating - 3 stars for me.
It is new (6 months) and ideally situated - We had an early flight from T3 and it was just a 15 minute walk underground to T3, so much better than getting stuck on the morning M3 traffic - Staff were keen to make sure we had everything and knew all about Hotel - They all insisted we went to the 'Runway Bar' on 14th floor and is was well worth the view and the pre-dinner Prosseco - Made a FAB start to our holiday.
Conveniently located opposite the arrival/departure area of Terminal 2. about a 15 minute walk from T-3. Convenient.
