This hostel company doesn't have the best reviews, so I was a little worried about booking, but was pleasantly surprised. After arriving at the address given, we were picked up and driven to a different property. The property where we actually stayed was in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to a tube station. Our room was also really big and bright. The wifi worked well and there was even a washer and dryer to use. Since the other reviews are not good, I guess we lucked out.

Dont stay here.
No staff are actually at the property, I had to wait about 40 mins to be let in by another guest then wait longer for someone to drive to the hostel for me to check in. The keys/locks for the rooms must work for all doors because 2 times other guests opened my door including a man walking into my room at 3am. When I called the staff (cos there aren't any staff there) I didn't get an answer.

Close to tube stations and a small village . Sainsburys in walking distance. The man who ran it and I assume his wife are quiet and friendly people.

Good in a pinch
As the cheapest option we didn't expect anything lavish but the utensils and crockery in the cupboards were grimy and gross, our oven didn't have an ignition switch, there were frequent blackouts and we never received the second house key we were promised so when returning from work late at night I had to have my sister come down from the top floor to let me in. Also, the prices for the washer and dryer were incorrect as the machines did not allow for the correct change so it cost more than advertised. Having said that the staff were friendly and helpful.

No reception???
I have stayed in many hostels in many countries but this one was bit unusual. After the booking I received the automated email from the hostel that they own many buildings so I have to call the number when I get there and and someone will come with the key etc. They only accept cash and no change is given. Also the check in time was till 5:30 pm and late check in after hours is chargeable. None of these things are advertised when you actually book the hostel.

Can do way better.
The kitchen and commons area were ok. But the location and room cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. The rooms smelled terrible and little was done by the staff to make it better. Plus if you arrive after 5:30pm you are charged an extra 15 GBP. Even though that is not stated anywhere in the confirmation provided by Expedia. OK hostel in a pinch but would not plan to stay here again. The WiFi didn't work in the room. Not an enjoyable experience.

Oh I would never stay here again, this place is awful. The Hostel is in the end of zone 2 of the underground which is the only positive. When I arrived, I was told I needed to pay for my stay even though I had a prepaid stay, I prepaid through the website, even saw the paper work that said my reservation was prepaid on their paper work. The staff tried to get me to pay more, perhaps because they haven't paid for something, and maybe hotels.com is holding their money for advertising. I dont know, but if you prepaid, chances are you were already charged and dont owe anything and they do. The rooms are way over crowded, I was in a room that had 8 beds, but the room was probably for 4 maybe 6, but not 8, no room to move around. I should also mention that the hostel I stayed in which was advertised as 30 chatsworth, and that property looked better, I ended up in 39 chatsworth, which is across the road, and is a total dump. This place actually has people that have lived here for longer than 3 months, as one of the people I shared a room with has been here for longer than 3 months, I wouldn't even leave your valuables in the lockers provided, Provided the residents haven't already taken them. The neighborhood is nice, the train is directly behind the property and you can hear it running at night, on a Friday or Saturday when they start running nightly service on the underground be warned. I warn you about this place.

The accommodation was absolutely filthy. I‘ve never experienced something like this… First of all, we were perfectly on time for the check in, in the end we needed to wait 35 Minutes for someone to come by. We needed to call the management 2 times and still it took that long… Arriving in our room it wasn’t fitting to the pictures shown on the internet. Our room was tiny… there was a small fridge standing right behind the door and very small space to put your belongings in. (If you even wanted that…) The most important point is that the room as well as the bathrooms which you are sharing with different people, which seem to live there, were disgustingly dirty. The bed sheet had several stains on it and the room itself was very dirty. The walls were covered in something we don’t even know… and behind a picture they tried to hide a broken wall. The fridge hat black stains in it and smelled a little weird. The public bath had dirty showers and in the toilet were (you know) …. Stains. At the end we became an new apartment which was better and more private, still a bit dirty but compared to what we‘ve had before much better. Wouldn‘t recommend! Go somewhere else, the area the hostel was didn’t feel safe either many homeless people by night. The only positive point is that it was in Zone 2 Kilburn, with the underground you were quick in the City centre.

Ich war 4 Tage im Hostel, hat etwas lange gedauert bis ich den Schlüssel bekommen habe aber danach war alles super. Ich mein man sollte natürlich für so ein Preis nicht all zuviel erwarten von dem her fand ich die Zimmer und den Aufenthalt dort echt entspannt. Die Leute waren sehr nett und generell hab ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ein Zimmer in Kilburn
Das Zimmer war sehr dreckig und sehr klein. Für den Preis den ich bezahlt habe sollte man ein bisschen mehr erwarten können. Die Küche war sehr dreckig somit könnte ich vor Ort nichts kochen und musste nur von draußen essen. Welches mein Urlaub noch teurer machte. Investiert also in ein eher sauberes Hotel.

Rommet vårt (tomannsrom) var lite men koselig. Kjøkkenet var stort og brukervennlig. Badene kunne vært renere, de ble ikke rengjort i løpet av uka, og siden det er felles bad burde de kanskje rengjøres oftere. Ellers var personalet hyggelige og hjelpsomme.

Very Bad smell around the place from the tolilette/ the beds also smellls wit the heater at the full blown speed after many request was closed on my Last day only Dirty and not clean the Room eleven with the Toillete no ligts all through the stay..Only good thing an Louge with the good capacity in te place..Was said to be at the chatworths streen but was taken from their tio Blondesbury Park 51 very far from the Kiburn High Road for Jubillee lines Personals were all okay

Una experiencia desagradable y NO recomendable
Nos recibieron inicialmente y enseguida nos trasladaron a otro lugar. Al presentarnos nuestra habitación privada, ésta estaba toda sucia (llena de pelos, sábanas sucias, malos olores en general). Los baños no conocen ni el cloro ni legia, ni cualquier artículo de limpieza.

Hierbei handelt es sich um ein unseriöses Angebot! Die dargestellte Unterkunft ist nur Schein, vor Ort wird man nach dem wählen der angebenen Telefonnummer mit einem Auto in eine komplett andere Gegend gefahren, mit unzumutbaren Zuständen! Zimmertür nicht abschließbar, Motten im Zimmer, Dusche sehr dreckig und sanierbedürftig, ekelhaftes Klo ohne Papier, sehr komische Mitbewohner die in den Fluren rauchen.... wir haben uns vor Ort sofort auf die Suche nach einer Alternative gemacht und waren sehr verärgert, denn das kostete Zeit! Dieses Angebot sollte hier nicht angeboten werden!

Ich habe eine preisgünstige Unterkunft gesucht. Man ist aber gezwungen, vor Ort ein Telefonat zu führen, damit jemand kommt um den Schlüssel zu übergeben. Da ich nicht aus England bin und nur eine deutsche SIM-Karte habe, ist das ein recht teures Gespräch. Das Personal ist unfreundlich. Es gibt kilometerweit bis (ich glaube es bis 16:00) keine kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Es wurde mir nicht erlaubt, 15 Minuten auf dem Hotelvorplatz (15:45 bis 16:00) zu parken. Auf meine Frage, wo gibt es hier kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten, erhielt ich die Antwort, wir sind doch kein Hotel mit Auskünften, ich bin nicht von hier. Das Telefon im Haus mit einer Möglichkeit die weit entfernte Rezeption anzurufen, war defekt. Man muss passend bezahlen, Wechselgeld gibt es nicht. Da ich in Deutschland schon gewechselt hatte und in England noch kein Geld ausgegeben hatte, hatte ich natürlich kein Wechselgeld. Also gab es ein zwangsweise ein ordentliches Trinkgeld. Durch Zufall war eine Angestellte vor Ort, so dass ich nicht telefonieren musste, und ich konnte auf mein Zimmer, nachdem ich bezahlt hatte. Leider gab es aber für mich kein Tür- und auch kein Zimmerschlüssel, da ich ja nicht angerufen hatte. Ich sollte abends den Schlüssel bekommen, musste aber zu einem dringenden Termin weg. So schlief ich die 1. Nacht in meinem Auto. ICh bekam keinen Schlüssel und nach vielen Schriftverkehr auch keine Erstattung. Ich habe nicht einmal in meinem Bett gelegen. Freunde hatten weitere Probleme.

De ansatte har ikke styr på bookingerne!
Da personalet ikke havde styr på hvornår jeg ankom ( efter aftale) måtte jeg finde et hotel i London den første nat, hvilket jeg ikke fik refunderet af dem. Anden nat var min seng taget da jeg kom hjem om aftenen og værelset fuldt optaget. Herefter måtte jeg vente 1,5 time på personalet kommer og finder et andet værelse.

ともかく汚い。毎日、掃除はしてありますが、チェックアウトと次の人のチェックインの時間が30分しかないので、部屋も整ってないまま通される。部屋に冷蔵庫があるのが便利だったのと、キッチンに電子レンジとポットがあったのは便利でしたが、洗濯機は壊れていて使えませんでした。部屋は電気をつけていても暗く、2段ベッドの揺れも気になりました。また部屋の独特な臭いも気になりました。駅から近いため、立地だけは良いですが、もう二度と利用しないと思います。なおチェックイン可能な時間帯が決まっており、その時間外や、日曜日にチェックインする際は別途料金がかかるそうなので注意が必要です。到着したら、電話もかけないとチェックインできません。中にも入れません。ホテルズドットコムで予約完了後、その内容がホステルから直接メールできます。

We bought 247 London Hostel, but we got a very run-Down hostel in the middel of no where. There was a an additional "late night" check-in fee of £25 per room for checking at after 5:30 in the afternoon!....and there were mice in the Kitchen!

NO RESERVEIS
La reserva era para mi madre y mi tío, personas mayores y sin ninguna noción de inglés, al llegar al hotel media hora tarde, les cobraron un suplemento de 25 libras por ir un chico a abrirles, pero no había habitaciones libres, y les dio la dirección de otro establecimiento para que fueran, sin acompañarles, y la habitación que les asignaron era una zulo con una litera y ni una silla para dejar cosas, y obviamente sin cuarto de baño propio, que era lo que tenían reservado, así que ellos sin saber dónde ir ,se quedaron. UNA ESTAFA les cobraron por llegar tarde a una habitación que no tenían, y al decirle que no lo querían abonar, pues ellos tan tranquilos les dijeron que no pasaba nada que lo cargaban en la tarjeta y solucionado.

Bilder sehen online sehr schön aus… in Wirklichkeit ganz anders. Matratze absolut durchgelegen, spürt jede Feder im Bett. Dreckig ist das Zimmer. Heizung war kaputt und das Bad sah auch schrecklich aus. Für den Preis absolut übertrieben
