For spending several hundreds of dollars each night, plus an additional almost $60 resort fee, the check-in process is shocking. They don’t allow early check-in without paying an additional $50 , and then the line up to check in from 4pm onwards is , without exaggeration, hours long .
We left the line and gave up - there were 3 people working in a hotel of this size -!- we came back at 10pm to try again and there were 2 people working , but one was dedicated to VIP ; so just 1 to check in all the tired and weary travellers that are paying for a hotel room that they are not actually using - because they can’t check in.
No self check-in kiosks were anywhere in sight .
The receptionist/front desk also confirmed that every night is like that , and there are always only a few people working - for a hotel that has thousands of rooms ! It took over an hour of waiting . On a Wednesday. The line up on Thursday and Friday was much much worse when we walked by - children were crying .
Paris / Caesar’s - do better. You might make money off gambling and drinks versus check-in, but people remember their first experience in your hotel - and it’s not one that makes them feel valued or wanting to come back .
