Uber amp shòws the wrong location for pickup ! Went through 3 drivers not finding the hotel till we gave up and toke a cab ! food and drink prices for horseshoe and likely all stripe hotels are ridiculous ! 15 dollars for a blue moon in a plastic cup ! Water out of the tap didn’t taste good .

The check in experience was awful. I arrived on time, did express check in and was told my room wasn’t ready. An hour later, I had to wait in line because the express machines were down. Then, I was given the wrong room assignment that was paid for.

There wasn't much we liked about The Horseshoe Hotel. It was supposedly "completely remodeled" but all they really did was take Bally's and slap some lipstick on that pig of a property. Sure the rooms have bew beds, furniture and TVs, but the bathrooms are in poor condition, as is all the carpetin throughout the entire property. I paid for a room with a view of the Bellagio fountain and it was later explained to me that they dont even have rooms with that view anymore. The check-in process is now handled by a kiosk, not a person. The casino is shabby at best. It reminded me of the first casino Trent and Mikey visited in the movie Swingers. Awful. We still had to pay a nightly resort fee even though the pool wasnt even open. You had to go to the Paris Hotel pool if you wanted to swim. If you are lucky enough to get a view of the High Roller and Sphere, you'll unfortunately be subjected to constant road noise from Flamingo Blvd and consistent fire truck and ambulance sirens. The only saving grace was the property's easy access to the Paris Hotel, casino and restaurants. Do yourself a favor and don't be fooled by The Horseshoe's false claims of fountain views and complete remodel. Spend the extra money and stay at a hotel worthy of your hard earned dollar, because this place isn't.

Smoking should be prohibited period, you are poisoning others by allowing smoking in the casino . Also a 24 hr American style grill with old fashioned meals would be great, not super expensive steak houses and crappy food courts.

The location is perfect! The check in was self service, and even though it was early evening it said our room wasn’t ready for half an hour, that wasn’t great. Room was clean. The giant lit up sign was annoying as it lit up the room 24/7 and blocked the view.

This is my second time staying here, it is right on the strip and super easy to navigate. I love all the amenities. The pool was closed for the season but we got access to the Hotel Paris pool, which was very nice.

DIRTY, STAINED BEDDING! Checked in via the self service kiosk at 3:30p and upon entering the room, I could tell it wasn’t cleaned properly because the bathroom had debris on the floor and wasn’t vacuumed well. I then inspected the bed as I always do to ensure there are no bed bugs or dirty linens. The mattress cover was torn and absolutely disgusting! It was stained with obvious urine and I just don’t understand how the housekeeper didn’t see it and change it?? Many areas of the mattress cover and pad were stained, it was very obvious. I then called down to the front desk at 3:45p and spoke to someone who said they would send housekeeping up immediately. I left the room and returned 3 hours later to find that nobody cleaned my room!! I then stood in a long line to speak to the front desk agent who then got the Manager on Duty named Martin who was able to rectify the issue. He also waived the ridiculous $50 resort fee. The attention to detail and work ethic of the housekeepers is lacking and the management of housekeeping is obviously not holding them accountable. I doubt I will stay here again. The rooms need an updating, as well as the common areas (ie, carpeting, walls in the hallways, etc.)

My check-in experience was terrible. I had booked for fountain view rooms and they gave me parking lot facing rooms after waiting in line for a long time. I had to go to hotel registration again to get fountain view rooms. However the front desk told me that Expedia charged me for fountain view and booked parking lot view rooms. However after I showed them the reservation, as a courtesy they gave me fountain view rooms. It took me more than an hour and a half to just check-in. Also the rooms did not even have a coffee machine. I would never book through Expedia and never stay at Horseshoe again.

The property is old, but the location is great. Easy access to everything in the strip. Lots of dining options. Staff are not too customer oriented maybe due to self- check in and out machines. The room that we got has a great view of high roller and the sphere and it was huge because it’s accessible. Near the elevators. The problem is that we can hear loud noises all day all night. Its like a sound of grinding metal. Maybe from the elevators. Also there were 8 elevators but only 2 are working. Our 3 days stay we used the same elevators and everytime there was a huge line downstairs and on our floor.

No coffee maker in room. Fridge, but no microwave. Food offerings in hotel are very expensive; good, but not worth the price. I had to ask for service for my room ontwo days, since I needed clean towels; of the five nights, my room was serviced once. We were there for a specific in-house event; otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere.

I stay here at least once a year. Everything was great outside watching TV. It spent 3 days accessing every 30 minutes. Total BS. We go every year for Mountain West Tournament, however this year played way too many games with the channel changer. The only bump in the road.

Check in experience into the hotel was terrible. We booked a fountain view room (which was priced extra) and called front desk twice to inform about our flight Landing time. Once we reach the lobby, there was a 30 min wait in queue just because only one person was there to check people in. After half an hour wait we were told their property is fully booked and we don't have a room there. When we confronted about our confirmed reservation, it was told 'You have a confirmed reservation but no room was guaranteed'. I don't even know what exactly does that mean. Basically they overbooked their rooms. Their front desk staff was so rude even when it is their fault, that you won't feel like interacting with her sensibly. Front desk staff I was interacting was 'Traci'. She was just handing over a slip stating you can go to our sister property and a room will be provided there. When I asked for her supervisor, she (Tee) came out and at least she knows how to talk to customers. She informed that they really overbooked, if we are ready to wait for 40 min, we can get our room. We agreed and waited. When we again went to the front desk, Traci informed Tee already left for the day, she does not know when will the room be cleaned and it is still not available and it is 'Tee' who promised the room in 40 min, not her. Half an hour more and multiple followups at least made possible for us to get a room but when we reached there, could not fid the 'Fountain View', just a parking lot!

The smoke smell was unbearable. I've stayed here many times over the years and it was just absolutely awful. It was like smoke mixed with perfume being pumped into the hotel. Our room was so dirty. Our bathroom had trash on the floor and stuck to the walls, the shower wasn't clean. I called for more pillows and the guy that brought them handed me two DAMP pillows. So gross. The fridge didn't really work, it just kept things cool and I couldn't find anywhere to change the temp. I travel frequently for work and used to like to stay here but I will be reconsidering for sure. I was also told at check in that with Cesar's Rewards you get free parking. I asked if I needed my card and was told it showed on my account. But then my card was charged 164 on top of the 256 I already paid which is just insane for 2 nights at a hotel of this standard. I could've stayed elsewhere.
