Nice hotel, good location, good food! The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. One issue: the pillows were uncomfortable. Very, very flat! We would stay at the hotel again but would bring our own pillows. Parking is easy and secure but a tad expensive $25 per day self parking. $35 for valet. The staff was very friendly.
The Estancia is our favorite, go to hotel when we need a little getaway. Living in San Diego, we have lots of hotels to choose from and always come back to Estancia. The staff is wonderful, but the facility is tucked away so we feel as if we truly got away, even though we are 15 minutes from our home - haha!
The hotel was more sophisticated than the pictures portrayed and that was a nice surprise. The beds were the best that i ever slept in! The pool was amazing! The room and price was awesome and they gave me early check in and late check out. The only problem was the rude guys at the door who said that i could not store my long board in the bell closet even though the desk just said that i could! I also called and asked twice before bringing my surf gear. The rude guy (big bald dude) said that i could not put it there with the expensive clubs. My board cost $2000 and was in a $300 bag. Luckily my room was on the bottom floor or i would have been even more upset. The guy was wrong and rude. Not everybody golfs buddy!
when we booked the room the pictures on expedia were totally misleading, poor at best. we booked for two nights and after complaining to management they moved us to a sweet which what is online in the picture discription, this was a very nice room. the staff was very nice. Overall we would stay there again but only if we rented a sweet.
