This property was right by the sea shore ! Where everything was happening soon as I walked out the hotel I could see the big ships right in front . Plenty of restaurants right across the street as Well as Museums to visit great staff very attentive. I felt safe at all times very walkable , transportation all around.

The customer service was A ! The gentleman who worked the front desk, Edward, was very helpful. Probably got tired of my needy self, but he still helped me with politeness and a smile! I didn’t ever see the housekeepers but I knew they were around because my room was serviced. The property itself was nice and clean. Close to shopping and a few good restaurants. This is where I will be staying with my family here again when we go back to SD.

The pros: superb location, around the corner from train station, almost right on the water, super walkable to everything (great for seniors), 10 min walk to little Italy for great food and ambience, 10 min walk to seaport for shopping and eating, right in front of sea wall. Clean hotel, nice amenities. Cons: housekeeping was scattered, they gave fresh towels and made beds (we didn’t need towels and hung them up) but needed other things like tea/coffee/water restocked (which weren’t restocked every day. Pool claims to be heated on website, we stayed in March and it was warm out (swimming weather), pool is not heated, not swimmable at all (and I cold dip regularly!), imo not usable outside of summer months.

I have been staying at this property since it was a Holiday Inn. The location for me has always been good. The process to check in this time was a little bit of a pain though. Only two agents at the front desk and one was taking very long to check people in.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It is a the right spot to walk everywhere.The view from our window was great. Sitting on the balcony and watching the boats . The personal was friendly and helpful.A big thanks to the Manager Chris. He is just a fabulous person who helped us out with great service and information. We definitely will return to this Hotel 👍

Amazing view of the bay. Convenient location and walkable to almost everything around the area. Trolley pick up across the street as well. Will definitely stay again.

We had a queen bed instead of the king I had pre paid for, there are no tissues in the room, no room service, and not enough coffee pods and creamer. We got here about 11 pm, when I went to the bathroom at midnight I discovered the carpet in front of the door is wet; my husband was already asleep so now it is morning and the carpet is still wet. Will let staff know, they gave us credit for breakfast and an upgrade for when we come back after our cruise

Location is convenient. Service is very average. Our room was not turned over the next day although we had left the room at 7am and came Back at 9pm and when asked about that there Was no appropriate response from the desk, they only said ‘oh it’s suppose to be done, Do you need anything”. Overall stay was average

It's in a great area, and it was clean. The staff were outstanding, and helpful. Just the property is a little tired and in need of an update. But then the price will go up so if you're ok with a little drab go for it.

Property is better than the outside appearance. Check in felt rather rushed with only two employees checking lines of people in. The suite that I got was awesome. A few others and myself had to go back to the front desk to have them activate the WiFi that they said was already available. You’ll want to ask for additional towels before going to your room as there was only one set in either parts of the suite (two separate rooms checked together). Lots of local eats, which was great for us and my 3 children.

Construction on surrounding roads. Parking spots barely wide enough to accommodate a normal size sedan. Forget parking anything bigger without hogging 2 spaces. And not nearly enough spaces if the hotel is busy. Way too many dogs allowed and of course they all barked incessantly.

Located across the cruise terminal, felt safe and walked to nearby restaurants. Stayed in tower 3 which is detached from main lobby, which is a bit inconvenient.

The staff was very helpful and kind upon check in. They upgraded my room to a room with a view since the room I had reserved wasn't ready. The property is kept up nicely and clean. Overall, a great experience.

The price quoted was incorrect. I ended up with a $200 additional charge. The room service was terrible. We had no toilet paper, no hairdryer, and when the housekeeping came in, they only cleaned certain things on certain days… One day would be the bathroom while the next day would only be the beds was very odd. Didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in a very long time I would not stay here again. Another thing that was quite annoying was there was no way to get a hold of housekeeping the phone would just rang and ring and ring and sometimes it would answer and then they would hang up on you… When waiting for toilet paper, we waited over an hour. It’s pretty ridiculous.

Room was switched to a queen from a king. Explanation was the queen is the same price as the king and these are sold in blocks and changed around all the time. Also only had 1st floor. No discount for a queen room vs king. Very disappointed

Although the check in time is at 4:00 pm , we arrived past 6:00 pm and checked in , when we got to our room , it was still dirty and not ready. I had to go back to the lobby and they wanted to assign us a room in another tower after we had to carry all our stuff with little kids that are tired. So after arguing that I cannot do that again now to another tower , they gave us another room in same tower another floor so still some carrying around. and due to all these delays we missed our dinner reservation.
