My 1st stay here was an example of everything went right. This recent stay, wasn't. I booked the 8 bedded dorm, knowing there's no double decker in that room. On arrival, was told the aircond for that room was not working, fine. They put me in a tiny 2-bedded room, which I need to take the upper bed, fine. Problem: the aircond for that floor had a faulty louver, it can only blow downwards, cool air cannot enter my room at all (the ventilation inlet is ceiling height), the room was very warm, I start sweating minutes after I enter. I request to change to another room (note I never get on my bed at all), and was told I need to topup money. I ended up sleeping at the couch of the common area. Another thing, this place put up a notice saying their dorms are reserved for backpackers aged 18-40, although I still see occupants over the age of 40. But it's best to check with them prior. You won't want to arrive with your luggages and get turn away, telling you to contact your booking agent/website for refund,.

Sort of a party hostel, common area gets really loud until 12 AM. However, sleeping area is quite quiet and cool which is pretty easy to sleep. Lots of fun people to hangout with.

Feels like home. Nice washrooms. Staffs are new so they had issue every time i tried to extrnd my stay. Bed is too soft.

Great hostel with great staff
I have now stayed here 4 times. I like the 22 bed dorm because the bunk beds are in little alcoves with privacy curtains. Nice staff. There is often a party going on until about midnight.

People are very nice and helpful. Place close to Chinatown, night Market and pub Street. Just too noisy (music in the lobby and a club outside)
