The room (209) itself would have been great but, and this is a big but, it is very noisy. There is a tall, narrow window in the bathroom to let the steam out but it doesn't completely close when you don't need it. As there is a massive, buzzing generator below the window, it gets unbearable. Furthermore, the room is atop the kitchen. Every once in a while you would hear loud chopping (weird I know) and people shouting, and then staff would smoke under your open bathroom window.
But the worst is the internet. A web based login system that logs you out every now and then, passwords that don't always work, it's a massive pain. You get the login data only after they 'set it up', which can take 15-25 minutes depending on how busy the reception is. I cannot understand why they don't set that up beforehand, or have a bank of logins already created. Baffling. Over the 4 days i stayed at this hotel, I must have gone to the Reception desk 8 times to deal with the internet. For the price you pay, this is unacceptable. Words cannot describe my extreme level of exasperation.
