We really enjoyed this small hotel complex. Very family feel and very welcoming. The location is great as directly on the beach for sunset cocktails. The trees grow virtually on the water's edge and the branches fall close to the ground giving the beach a feel of compartments of privacy. The walk into town in the evenings isn't particularly well lit but other than this a very nice place to stay and would certainly return.

A great family get away
We love our stay at Sarikantang Resort and Spa. We really had a great time especially that my wife wanted to relax before giving birth(she's 38 weeks pregnant).

A lovely stay
The hotel was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there previously. I was not disappointed. A charming place, all the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I would highly recommend staying. Loved my bungalow and the food was really yummy!

We spent 6 days in this lovely hotel. Staffs are friendly, polite and helpful. Hotel is located on the pretty private beach, not far from Had Rin where you can fine a lot of restaurant. Room is clean and comfy. Food in restaurants is so tasty!!

All staff are friendly and caring and work very hard to make sure everybody is happy. The resort is located on a peaceful beach where you can dine with beautiful surroundings. Only a 10 minute walk to haad rin beach for nightlife.

Great resort. Great value
Great resort and great value. While the standard rooms are fairly ordinary and hot water for showers and wifi in the room was intermittent at best, the resort location, staff, restaurant and the resort facilities were unsurpassed. We have no hesitation in staying at the Sarikantang Resort when we next visit Koh Phangan.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind...treated us like family. It felt like a family run hotel with all the extra details and considerations. The balcony had a hammock and rooms also had the best bug spray I’ve used yet - nice touch. Air conditioning and beds made for a restful sleep. I would return to this hotel no questions. Nina was hilarious and helped us with our car rental and other travel details - prices were more than fair. Kiley

Amazing Place!
This place was absolutely amazing. The staff were very helpful and very polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel restaurant is absolutely amazing. We had tp catch a 5am ferry, so the hotel staff set us up with an early taxi and even provided us with breakfast for us to take along with us. I will absolutely recomend this place!!!!

I have been happy with everything, except sea, because It can not possible to swim after outflow, because there are a lot of sea grass, but in the morning it was not problem. And sunset - amazing I do not have word

Has the nicest beach in the entire koh Pha-ngan by far. You can see fish by the pier in the water. Hotel staff were nice, nice room, clean. The shower was bad but everything else was nice. I’d recommend the bar up the hill for good cheap drinks. The pool is also nice has a nice view

The hotel is not as we expected. We were disappointed with the standard of the rooms, they are very outdated and not properly maintained for a hotel of this standard. The air conditioner was old and made noises and barely worked.

Great staff! They were so helpful and gave awesome suggestions. It was our honeymoon and they kindly upgraded our room. They even let us borrow sunscreen! They really went out of their way to help us and make us feel comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Also the location on the beach is wonderful.

Nice hotel with its own beach
What was once a luxury resort is now just ok. The private beach is now shared with two other hotels and frequent boat visitors so not very tranquil. Because of the new construction the path into the hotel now takes you past sceptic tanks and rubbish bins! The room was ok but only one bedside lamp and the bed sheets didn't fit. Front of house staff were excellent and it's close to main haad rin beach. It really is nice enough but having seen what it once was, I won't be staying again.

Great location - right on a beautiful beach and just a few minutes walk to Haad Rin beach (the site of full moon). Room was very basic and definitely not consistent with what we had seen in the pictures online. The air conditioning was very weak, which left us hot while sleeping. Overall, the beach access location and great customer service are enough to give this hotel a strong rating, however the room didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Lovely private rooms, I'd stay again!
Hotel staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Restaurant is lovely, rooms are very private and clean. Spa is very reasonably priced, with the hotel giving us a 30% discount. The check out process is very slow but overall our stay was brilliant.

Stayed in standard bungalow for 1 night and extended for another 3 nights, lovely room, clean, comfortable, and staff lovely. 5 min walk to haad rin town. Had a lovely meal at restaurant, breakfast was terrific right on the beach. Wouldn't hesitate coming back to this hotel. Very peaceful

Close enough to full moon party without hearing the noise when you want to go to sleep. Amazing room and pool. Beautiful beach. Will stay again when I come back.

Quiet Location on the Beach
Great stay here all in all. Short walk to the main area in Haad Rin and right in a quiet area directly on the beach. Staff was great and the breakfast was really good. Only two things were a bother, one being that the wifi constantly kicks you out and you have to re-sign in throughout the day and night. Again, this is minor in the grand scheme of things. The other being that they charge you for things taken from the mini fridge which is normal. However on one day we were charged 20bht for a kit-kat which we didn't take. When we casually brought it up it became a really funny ordeal. People were sent up to investigate the fridge... the kit-kat had been found. It was knocked behind some cans of pop as we had mentioned. Considering the 2200bht we were paying for per night I found this to be a bit of a joke. We do go around taking kit-kats then claiming we didn't. They had to track paper work and receipts. It took almost 20min to determine we wouldn't be charged the 20bht. Gimme a break.

Hotel right on the beach.
The staff at Sarikantang were all so friendly and always happy to help. The sea view rooms are the best. The hotel is situated right on its own beach and close to Haad Rin nightlife (Full moon party).

Wasn't what I was hoping for.
I'll keep this short and to the point. My main complaint is the lack of pest control. At a resort like this, they should have someone on staff with knowledge of how to prevent ants from invading their bungalows. Simple, regular spraying around the foundations and pillars would go a long way towards helping keep these pests out. Although, the staff was friendly, one day when I came to my room because I forgot something, there were two cleaning staff sitting there on my front porch talking, and they left the door wide open. I didn't need more mosquitos in my room. I did mention the ant problem to the front desk, soon after check-in. All they seemed to do was send a cleaning staff, which clearly wasn't going to fix this issue. I have noticed that pest management, in general, doesn't really seem to be a very high priority in Thailand but when you pay more to stay in a place like this to relax, you are also expecting the standards to be what you are accustomed to in the west. I will say that they do have a nice beach and enjoyed doing some snorkeling there. Also, the food at the resorts restaurant, although not amazing, wasn't bad.

Little hide-away close to the action
Sarikantang is an amazing little hideaway just out of the action of the crazy Haad Rin. The rooms are great it has two pools the food is okay but the staff are amazingly friendly and make you feel very very welcome.

Lovely hotel and great location
The bungalows are lovely, comfortable and well equiped. The hammocks are a lovely touch. The beach is private and great for relaxing as you get a lovely breeze and the trees make it picturesque. It is only a small walk into Haad Rin to a range of bars and restaurants. The hotel breakfast has a good choice and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel for families
The rooms are lovely we had a superior room that looked out over one of the pools. The only downside to this was that kids were playing loudly in the pool all day so we couldn't read in peace. The bed was amazingly comfy and room was clean and tidy. We even were given a little beach bag to take around the resort, nice touch. Only real negatives would be the lack of loungers on the beach as all of the pools are full of families. It was a scrabble in the morning to get one of the beanbags otherwise you just have to lie on the sand. Additionally the Thai food here was fairly varied in quality we've had much better whilst being in Thailand, saying that it's a lovely restaurant with great staff. We even had live music one night which was great. To sum up id say this is a great place for families, less so for a couple.

However, in some specific months which is a family holiday, we can recommend the rooms in our peaceful garden zone if you are not traveling with family. A lovely hotel with fantastic friendly staff. Has a free shuttle service to the center and only 50bt per person if needed outside scheduled times. The restaurant food and drink is great and really good value no more expensive than the restaurants outside the hotel. The rooms are just fantastic everything you need and comfy beds too. Would stay again in a heart beat.
