"The hotel is secluded which is great but also requires for transportation to anything outside the hotel. If you want to eat in a local restaurant rather than the hotel it's a 30 min Car Ride away. As long as that is acceptable to you no issue but if you like to go outside the hotel from time to time this can be an issue. There is nothing around the hotel area that can be deemed as acceptable, at least not what we have been able to check out. "

"We chose to celebrate our 11th anniversary at Silavadee Resort. We were glad that we stayed here. The service was excellent. I could not think of anything Sri complain. Staff was friendly, always said Sawadee when seeing you. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with selection of food and tasty breakfast. Aonny, the breakfast restaurant manager, and other restaurant staff were always welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The house keeping staff worked tirelessly to clean the room in the morning and do turndown service in the evening. I think it was a nice touch. The two infinity pools had amazing ocean views. The property had private beach. What else can you ask for? "

"Little to fault here, very luxurious, spectacular service lovely.rooms. Restaurant offerings limited and the ipad menus very frustrating. Some very loud boorish groups , but thats a cultural thing and little hotel can do about it. I do wonder why they think its ok to shout and holler across such a traquil resort. Maybe some generic notices in the room written in certain languages may help"

"My family and I arrived at this resort at 7:30am.. Jetlagged and tired from travel. The girl at the front desk was so nice.. She had the maid clean our room first and we checked in hours early. Yes, the resort has a bit of a 70-80's vibe, but it's grounds are kept perfectly clean and you're staying in the middle of a tropical jungle just steps from the beach! How can you beat that?? Some people that review this place and nitpick the small details will never be happy, because they can't afford the type of luxury they expect from a mid-range resort. The on-site restaurant had delicious food and was great value. The fire-dancers the one night put on an amazing show. This was the best resort by far on our Thai vacation. We hope to be back some day. "
